Just A Little Bit.

Just a little bit happened since I last posted yesterday but here is a little nugget of wisdom, posted in the thought above.Just a little something bright to start your day. I also can't believe it but they actually already sold  that piece of shit house at the corner they were listing for 350K! I saw the SOLD sign up on it yesterday. I can't believe it,and so fast, too! My guess is someone from Toronto, where they'd think the price is a bargain (where the average 3 bedroom house is over a million$)and either they'll just rent it out and don't care that it looks like crap, or else they'd have the $$$ to renovate if they'll be moving in themselves, esp. compared to what houses in the GTA cost. It's always interesting to see what new neighbours will be like. I just hope NOT more rednecks though! Buddy also finally ate yesterday after not eating a thing the day before so hopefully he's feeling better and not dying like I feared but at his age(16) it worries me. The second-oldest and the 19 YR old also bought their airline tickets to come visit us in August! She also better finally return the suitcase I lent her when she comes back too, otherwise I'm not letting her in the door unless she does....or she pays me the 200$ I paid for it!

Gas is now the highest it's ever been as well; over 2$ a litre and last year at this time it was $1.36.I think they're purposely doing this to force everyone to buy pricey electric cars but that makes as much sense as trying to solve homelessness by saying just have the homeless buy unaffordable homes. It also seems to me that the Russia-Ukraine conflict has now turned into more of a Russia-NATO  conflict as NATO is supplying Ukraine with weapons, which is the only reason they've lasted so long, and now with Finland and Sweden seeking membership( the exact thing Russia feared; having their borders surrounded by NATO countries) and my mattress has these sharp metal things poking out that cut and scrape me so I'll have to flip it over as I can't afford to buy a new one and this one is 26 YRS old as I know for sure as I got it when we had to replace my old burned one after the fire 26 YRS ago,and my hubby got a warning letter from the bank too saying he only has 100$ in his bank account yet it still didn't stop him from buying a new air fryer, an indoor grill, and an air popper popcorn machine for his new health-kick and it's strange how we struggle to pay bills and have house repairs we can't afford yet whenever he needs something he somehow always seems to find the $$$$ for it...

Don't cry because it's over; smile because it happened.-Dr. Seuss
