Christmas Steve.

Today is Christmas Eve Eve, or what we call Christmas Steve  at our house.
 I know, we're weird.
Always have been, always will be
.My hubby got this ginormous inflatable ornament he hung up on the ceiling fan in the living room and it's so big even if I open my arms up full wingspan I still couldn't wrap my arms all the way around it!  I hope he inflated it with a pump of some sort though and not his lips or else he'd have one hell of a headache! The photo is also "fuzzy" because I had to turn the light on but it also turned the ceiling fan on and it kept vibrating and shaking and therefore a photo that's out of focus because it wouldn't keep still. I also heard a cute Christmas joke:
What do gingerbread men use when they have a broken leg?
A candy cane!😂

Yesterday the 29 YR old also went out and got himself 4 new plants for his room, to act as a humidifier and also to beautify the place, because, like me, he also likes to look at beautiful things that bring him joy. I posted the photos of the new plants up on my Facebook plant lovers group too and he got lots of likes. Only a couple of them are by the window though so I doubt they'll get enough sun, plus it's also always really cold up there on the 3rd floor in  winter, too, so I don't know how long they'll survive. Plus, he also has to remember to water them on a regular basis as well so there's also that.

I also heard this radio ad for a spa called Hand and Stone  and I thought it said Tanned and Stoned because I don't hear very well, and we're supposed to get freezing rain today followed by rain but I pray the temps drop enough so it turns to snow for Christmas instead, and this morning just after I woke up I also saw a bright flashing white light that only lasted for a few seconds but had no idea what it was or where it came from and last night it was weird, too: I was listening to my weekly Friday night heavy metal radio show and it repeated itself; the last hour was an exact repeat of the hour before and I thought I was stuck in a time warp!

I also just love the cute little grunting noises Buddy makes every time I kiss him and tell him I love him, and a Facebook group I belong to someone also asked if they're the only ones that "personify" inanimate objects and I was surprised because I thought that I was the only one that did things like that; I've done it my entire life and I still do; I talk to things and if I bump into a chair, for example, I'll say "sorry" to it, and I feel badly if there's an uneven amount of something because someone will feel left out, and I talk to my plants and stuffed toys all the time like they can hear me and I think everything has feelings and even to my load of laundry I'll talk to it, saying things like, Ok, guys, in you go! as I toss it into the dryer, and things like that. I don't know if it's an autistic thing or just a crazy thing, but all this time I thought I was the only one that did weird things like that but apparantly not; there are others just like me,too! I have people!

This is my fave, of the plants and it's a big one, too, and sits on the ground. I wonder if he gives names to his plants, too, like I do with mine?

So life has been pretty tough and God is my only hope now.-Dextie
