Running With Scissors.(Formerly HippoRastaPotamus): Maybe.

Yesterday my hubby sent me an e-mail along with this photo of a Chihuahua he found in an online ad for only 150$ with the title Maybe?

I was so shocked and surprised as before he was never open to me getting another dog, and I expected a big fight over it, even though he knows how important it is to me,(he even said, "I know how much you really miss your doggy.") and how I desperately need something to live for since Buddy died as he was my only reason to live and I need someone to love and to take care of and to bring love, joy, light, happiness, meaning,and purpose into my life again.

Since just December I lost my mother, my Soul Brother, and Buddy, who was my entire life. It's just too much grief and loss and overwhelming and in just the past 9 days since Buddy died I've already tried to end it 3 times.

I simply have nothing to live for now.

But I also know God will lead me to the dog I'm meant to have at the right time, just like He did with Buddy.

My hubby even had the nerve to ask if I'm "over the 7 stages of grief yet." and it's only been 9 days.

No, I'm NOT "over" it and I never will be.

I also found this Chihuahua for sale on an online ad for 600$ and I replied to both of them and this morning there was a reply to the one here saying he is still available so I asked approx where they live and when we can meet. No one can ever "replace" Buddy but another dog to love will at least give me someone to take care of, to love, to dote on, and something to live for.

I just miss Buddy so much I want to be with him and it's all I can think of.

My life is so empty without him. Everything is just pointless and even food has no flavour anymore.

It's a sign of hope though at least my hubby's on board (and even helping me!)with this(God softened his heart and it means alot to me) and I pray that God either takes me Home soon or sends me the right dog to help heal my heart.
