Now check out the 2 blooms on the same stem: one has just opened to new life and the other(its twin) is dying at the same time.
. Such is the Circle of Life.
The Alpha and the Omega.
The beginning and the end.
Just like Jesus.
Yesterday we were also able to be outside for 4 hours( and I could have my bedroom window open last night, too!) but then I still felt hot later and when I came back inside and checked it said it was 30 C so no wonder but at least we didn't have the humidity we've been having lately so that made a biiiig difference. Today it's supposed to be the same and then really hot and humid again tomorrow and then cooler next week, between 22 C and 26 C so much better for the CNE. The 26 YR old still hasn't heard if his flight's been cancelled yet but we know it will be; it's just a matter of time and my hubby says if he's stuck in Edmonton and can't get a flight out that himself and the 18 and 30 YR olds will just have to be recruited to do the fence. I bet they'll be just "elated" about that! HA! Did I ever tell you my BFF applied to be a flight attendent once but was disqualified because she smokes and has high BP? At least she was pretty and thin enough; I wouldn't even make it that far.

For the past few days Beja has also been agitated and barking like dogs do before an earthquake so I don't know if we're going to get one and he's sensing tremors or some kind of vibration or what or if we're getting a sinkhole or our house is going to collapse or something, and last night we were spooked as well; we were home alone( my hubby was at pickleball) and heard a sound at the door thinking someone was breaking in and he barked and the fur on his back went up and we both ran to the door to see, prepared for a rumble.......and it was the youngest, back from camp early(and he had a shower as soon as he got back!); my hubby said not until this afternoon....my hubby's excuse was they "came back early not being allowed to have a campfire due to the burn ban" but when I asked the 18 YR old why he was back a day early when I was told not until today he shrugged, You know Papa.... implying he always gets times and days wrong, which he does....and did yet once again. HA! He also said they only got rained out one night but it was really hot(but at least he could cool off swimming in the lake) and they had to use a gas stove for cooking with the fire ban. That would really suck though; camping and not being able to have a campfire!

I also really like this couch and have a similar one with the same pattern but the youngest wrecked it not long after I got it, and the CNE had 5K job positions for youth to fill and over 50K people showed up to apply and I found out I've been eating hotdogs wrong my entire life: apparantly you're supposed to eat them longways first, like doing a BJ, and I've been eating them sideways, like a cob of corn, and my hubby's been trying to catch mice using live traps except the smart little buggers always somehow manage to snatch the bait and take off, so now he's switched over to the snap-your-neck traps and those ones are finally working, and I still wish I had died with Buddy and wonder why God didn't take me with him. My hubby also starts 2 weeks vacation tomorrow and we have a very low water shed level and got less than 80% of the rain we should have gotten.
