Rain Down.

Yesterday was the hottest most humid day yet (and it's still today; already 23 C by 5 am even though it was supposed to have ended yesterday!) and I could only stand to be outside( even in the shade!) for 30 minutes and had to come back in! Earlier in the morning Beja and I were also out and it suddenly started pouring rain( which we really need, as much as I hate rain) despite the sun being out and we were just getting pelted with it so we ran in quickly, leaving his toy behind, and it got soaking wet. We also got lots of rain overnight (and I heard Stairway To Heaven on the radio again during the night)and this morning and supposed to get a storm today as well. Beja is smart as well and I noticed he'll often lay right next to the back door when we're outside and I found out why: when I went over to him I could feel a nice cool breeze when I bent down: there's a hole at the bottom of the door and you can feel the nice cool A/C blowing thru so he lays there to cool off! It reminds me of my puppies that used to  scramble all over eachother to lay on the furnace vent on the kitchen floor to keep warm in the winter. He's so very weird as well: he doesn't like cheese( most dogs do) esp. the real cheddar....but he does like raw carrots and cucumber!

If you look closely you can also see some of the tree leaves in our yard here behind the shed already starting to turn colour( like later in fall) due to heat exhaustion and dry conditions  and yesterday all of sudden I saw this little hole/flap on the back of my left hand (where the big swollen, squishy things are; possibly varicose veins?)with blood oozing out I have no idea where it came from and my new health card also came in the mail and the mugshot photo wasn't actually that bad surprisingly, esp.since I was really pissed-off when they took it; my head doesn't look as big as it did last time and it lasts for 5 years and I'll likely be dead by then, anyway. My hubby also asked, What's for dinner?  and I told him, Whatever you make because I'm not cooking this week (with the youngest away camping) I'm taking a break! and the flight attendents have announced a strike starting Saturday as well......and the 26 YR old's booked to arrive on Sunday from Edmonton.....

I'm always telling them to NOT ever  take shitty Air Canada

and I was right! (like I usually am)

ALWAYS LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER!!

I was also sad to hear yesterday that Danielle Spencer( the girl here) who played sassy little sister Dee on my fave. childhood show in the 70's What's Happening! died at age 60 of cancer. She was my fave. character, and now there's only 2 out of 6 cast members who are even still alive now; just Dwayne and Roger(at the back); as Dee, Re-Run, Mama, and  Shirley(not shown ) have all died. She ended up being a vet when she grew up, and not a failed has-been  washed-up child star like alot of them end up. The 30 YR old and his GF also left for her parents' last night until Monday and he said he "Goes back to work Monday" but I don't know if he meant his regular job or starting his new eyelash business, and now my only dream I have left is dying and being with Buddy again.
