Resurrected.

Hooray!
I was able to resurrect my wilted sunflowers! Look at them now, all nice and perked up and you'd never know! Today is also supposed to be the hottest day and we're borderline on a drought now as well and there's a total burn ban everywhere so I wonder what the youngest and his friends are doing camping this week with no campfire? How do they cook and toast marshmallows? I also can't believe that there's only 2 weeks of summer vacation left and then kids go back to school already and it's been so hot the past few days of this heatwave we can't even go outside in the mornings and not until the afternoons when there's some shade at the back and it's a bit cooler and it's not too bad just as long as you stay still and don't move around. They also say we might get a thunderstorm later today and tomorrow which we haven't had many of this summer it's been so hot and dry but we desperately need the rain. It's also sad to realize that last year when I went to the CNE my mother and Buddy were still here and now they're both gone.I miss her the most when I really need someone to talk to and she's not here. I also decided when the time is right I can try Evening Nightshade or Wolfsbane.Oleander would be best but I don't think they grow around here.

Good news,too!
My hubby got a notice he doesn't have to show up for jury duty afterall, so it won't conflict with my Foreigner concert( thank you, God! God removed the obstacle and always provides!!) so he won't even get to the voir dire part of jury selection so maybe it was settled out of court or they already have enough jurors, but in any case he'd probably be disqualified anyway as they tend to NOT pick computer programmers or people who work in IT (or engineers) as they tend to be analytical and they don't like that, oddly., but I'm just sooooo relieved!! I also don't have any "favourites" of the kids because to tell you the truth I don't really like any of them now  who they've become as adults and I think the best thing I do is to just let them go and set them free. Yesterday I also accidently called Beja "Buddy"; it just automatically slipped out and then I felt really badly.
For him and for me.

I also agree with the flight attendents issues to strike as they only get paid when the aircraft is in the air but NOT for the work they also do during boarding, taxiing, or de-plane-ing, so it would be like showing up for work at 9 am but not getting paid until 10:30 or 11 am and the finger on my left hand next to my "pinky" hurts for the past few days as well and feels like it's broken and I can't bend it but have no idea why so maybe it's just my Rheumatoid Arthritis and the 30 YR old keeps getting all kinds of deliveries for his new eyelash business( he's always  never stayed at interests/hobbies/jobs for too long and flits from one thing to the next) incl. a pillow that I thought said putana (Italian for whore, like how puta is in Spanish) on it and I just cracked up laughing, and he's also trying to get a 10-15K gov't grant as well and says he just has to write an essay and attend a business class but I'm skeptical as anything from the gov't always  comes with strings attached. He also scolded me last night about Beja's pee-pad, You know you are supposed to put new ones on? and I told him, yes, I know, and I do, just not too often because they're expensive. He's not around too often but when he is all he seems to do is criticize.

I've paid my dues Time after time I've done my sentence But committed no crime.-Queen
