Sunny Flowers.

I've had much less flowers this summer than usual and I miss it and it feels like something's missing but yesterday my hubby picked me up some sunflowers he found from a farmer at a market but it was the end of the day in a heatwave( 32 C for the past couple of days feeling like 40 C and the same for today and tomorrow as well) and they were wilted in the heat (so you know it's hot if even sunflowers wilt in the heat and sun!)but I was able to get my photos in such a way you hopefully won't notice it as much, at a certain angle( camera tricks!) but this morning they look better and seemed to have perked up,  stems cut on an angle and being in water. There are also wildfires getting close to here now,too, and this morning I feel dizzy and really nauseated and truthfully I'm really tired of always feeling so sick all the time but not dying. We also haven't had a BBQ in over 2 years (my mother used to be obsessed with them)as my hubby hates doing it and I can never get the coals lit or stand that long it takes to grill  to do it myself or I pass out but I like BBQ and I really miss it.

Yesterday my hubby also walked in as I was listening to an Eddy Grant song and he actually liked it and I laughed telling him he liked a Reggae ( which he HATES!) song and then he was all shocked and ferhoodled  and stammered Eddy Grant is NOT Reggae!!  and I laughed my ass off and informed him, Oh, yes he is! He is sooooo Reggae! Ha,ha!  He also said he picked out our watermelon this week using AI on his phone; apparantly it can scan all the watermelons and tell us which one is the best and I don't know if it actually worked or not or if he just got lucky but we got a really good one; nice and deep dark red and juicy, so I guess AI isn't ALL bad; I guess just like anything else it depends what you use it for and it can be used for good or evil. He also said he pretty much uses it every day now at work and it makes his job much easier and quicker.

We normally also should have got 150 mm of rain last month but only got 50 mm and this month the average temp should just be 26 C but it's been a really extra hot and dry summer( no shit!) and the youngest camping with his friends and his family my hubby said one person is in the tent with their dog( who takes a dog camping? How do you keep it confined in the tent overnight or stop it from running away or being attacked/attracting bears?) and everyone else is in the camper, and mis-heard song lyrics I thought the song The Whole Of The Moon  was the hole on the moon, and in ELO's Livin' Thing the verse I'm takin' a dive I always thought they were saying, I'm thinking of  dying. HA!
