I remembered this book from my childhood that I really liked: Fungus The Bogeyman (shown here) that was published in 1977 when I was 10 years old. It was a graphic book( that is, illustrated, not porn or violent, not that kind of "graphic") and it was a British book and I just loved it and recently I was hoping to find it again for nostalgia sake....except it seems it's no longer in print and more of a "vintage" thing and only available used, which is ok, I don't mind a used book.....except it costs between 200-400$! I flipped! Just for a book! As much as I love reading there's no way I'm spending that much just for a book! Holy f*ck! Maybe one day I'll get "lucky" ( ha,ha, right) and find it in a used bookstore someday?
This morning it's also 1 C and we have frost and I daresay I might have to give in and finally put the furnace on(and close my bedroom window) and I think our sitting outside days may be limited and numbered now, but not over; it was too cold and windy( and no sun, either, making it even colder) to be out yesterday even though I tried and only lasted an hour as my nose and ears were cold, but it's supposed to get up to a nice 18 C and sunny on the weekend. Yesterday and today I also have abdomenal pain so bad it feels like I've been kicked by a horse.

I also took these photos of our front but can't remember if I'd already posted them or not so if I did then you get them twice. As I was out there taking the photo of our tree 2 guys walked by and said, "That's a beautiful tree!" and my hubby flipped my mattress over for me and it's so nice to NOT have wires sticking out poking and scratching me and ripping my clothes and I still have a bit of a "sag" but not as bad as it was and I no longer have to keep waking up to turn over anymore(to watch out for the wires sticking out) and it's nice and I slept much better! I also put Tide laundry detergent on the list for a reason because it cleans the best and the doofus comes back with this stupid Gain shit instead, saying it was cheaper and he saved 12$ but I don't care; there are some things that you just don't "cheap-out" on and still have to get certain brands and laundry detergent and toilet paper are two examples!!
I also heard Stairway To Heaven on the radio again and the 30 YR old still says he wants to live in residence when he starts his college course and even though it will be good with him no longer living here stealing Beja off me it will also hurt financially to no longer get his rent $$$ even though it's only 300$ a month to be without that 300$ a month is going to hurt but I also know that God always provides.

I'm convinced as well that it really actually was cocaine that I found in that dime-bag the other day on the bathroom shelf ( what else would be in a dime-bag but drugs?) and it had the same "crunchy", clumpy consistancy of coke and when I put a bit on the end of my tongue for the "taste test" it WAS a disgusting strong bitter taste like coke( now I know why people snort it as opposed to eating it; it tastes like shit!) and it numbed it,too( as well as my nose when I sniffed some to see) and coke IS an anesthetic, and I remember when I was 19 or so and had my nose fixed the surgeon said he put cocaine drops in it to numb it and I made some smart-ass joke about being given "free coke" but he didn't think it was so funny but then again he was a grumpy old codger and I think if he smiled his face would crack.
The question is WHO does it belong to? I haven't said anything yet; I'm just quietly observing everyone, looking for clues, for behavioural indications, to see who it might be before I ask, Is this YOUR cocaine I found? and judge their reactions. Is it one of the kids that lives here or possibly one that visited from BC or Edmonton earlier and forgot it here? Whoever it is once I finally find out though is in for a hellava lotta trouble!

Trump also now is going to send the National Guard to Portland and Chicago, saying it's to crack down on crime, when really it's just Martial Law, more and more like the Nazis all the time, and one of the funniest things I remember my mother saying was she thought the band INXS was pronounced "Inks" instead of "In Excess" and I laughed so hard, and just before she died she also said, We had some good times..." mostly travelling the world together, and despite all the bad( esp. over-stepping boundaries with my kids) I still choose to remember the good.
