Christmas Season.

The other day I was on one of my Facebook groups( and I can't even remember which one it was) and they asked everyone to post photos of their Christmas trees and so I re-posted a few of my faves here. I also found it easier to get thru the Christmas season this year by not specifically thinking about Christmas itself  or by expecting the celebratory exciting day like I did in the past but now to just treat it like any other day and instead to rather just enjoy the entire season itself  in December and enjoy the lights, the trees, the Christmas music, the cheer, the joy, etc. It will never be the same again since my mother died 3 days after Christmas last year and without Buddy anymore. Yesterday morning my Facebook friend's hubby( the one in ICU with sepsis just like my mother was) died as well, and he had fallen out of bed a week before and had dementia, and they were married for 57 years and had 4 kids and 13 grandkids, and her dad isn't also in the ICU dying of sepsis as well like I thought; in fact it was only  him; the same guy; they just referred to him as Dad so I thought it was 2 separate different people; her hubby and her dad that were both dying but it was the same guy.

Ha, I'm so dumb.

It's esp. hard at this time of year.😭

My hubby also said the other day it wasn't just one of his brothers he visited but also his sister and another brother, a nephew and others, for a total of 9 people so they had like a reunion,  and the 31 YR old said when he got the adult Grinch Happy Meal  the other day he didn't get the pickle fries either but some kind of mini hashbrowns or tater tots or something, so maybe when I got the regular fries it WAS a glitch or else maybe they just ran out? Either way, it worked out; I like their regular fries. He also got a family doctor( some 6 million people here in the Shithole still don't ) and he said it was his GF who "got him in" as she "knows people and has connections" and got him to "skip the line" and then he complains the guy's Black( at least he's not Indian, who he hates more) but maybe he'll end up actually liking the guy,and hopefully he'll maybe even learn something too and not be such a racist asshole.

They also said on the news that the Ontario Legislature( gov't) is starting their winter break that goes until the end of March and their summer break was 19 weeks too( that's almost 5 months!) making me wonder if they ever do any actual work, and my hubby said I'll get a good birthday present as well: on my birthday( 4 Jan) the 31 YR old moves into the campus Residence, so he finally moves out! It's not that I want to get "rid" of him; I just want my dog back!! He doesn't have a meal plan though so he has to buy and prepare his own food and they don't have a stove so he'll have to buy a microwave and smuggle in a hotplate because I doubt they allow it being a fire hazard.

My hubby also thinks he's getting a cold and he says he really likes his new weighted blanket as well and says it's so comfy he no longer even has to get up in the middle of the night to pee anymore, and I follow this girl on Twitter that's in the Psych ward for self-harm and being suicidal and she lost an arm from jumping in front of a train in a suicide attempt and now I'm just so used to seeing her with just one arm I don't even notice it anymore, and the 31 YR old still has his headache and it's been a week so I told him to mention it to his doctor. Hopefully it's just a cold, or else if his doc started him on new meds it could just be a side-effect?

The youngest is also slacking-off lately and hasn't been doing his chores, such as collecting the recycling and the other day when it was picked up he didn't bring the empty bins in  when they got picked up and I saw one on the road as well as the garbage can and it was crushed( see photo below) either from a car or when the snowplow came around and he didn't arm the security system before bed like he was supposed to,either, so I guess he doesn't want his allowance,either; if you don't do the work you don't get paid. I doubt my hubby's boss would pay him if he didn't do his work.

 Of course my hubby doesn't care and just shrugs it off, never taking care of things, respecting things, caring about responsibility,  doesn't care if things get damaged,and just blows it off but he'll never learn that way. I'm the only one that ever says anything so that makes me the Bad Guy.

Beja also will go pee outside in  the snow now but NOT if it's actually snowing at the time as he doesn't like the way it feels falling down on his back and head and when it melts and he gets all wet. What I want for Christmas is snow and also for Beja to come back to me and for me to be his Person again like I was before the 31 YR old stole him off me, and he blatantly lures him away,too, even calling him when he's already with me, C'mon, Beja, let's go upstairs!
