Mistletoad.

What do you call a festive Christmas amphibian?
-Mistletoad!
Tomorrow it will also be exactly 8 months since Buddy died and a year since my mother went to the ER with breathing issues and ended up in the ICU for 3 weeks where she eventually died and at the beginning I didn't really think she was going to die but just stay there for awhile(and thought she'd be home for Christmas but died 3 days after) like she did the year before for a couple of months with her kidney infection and they'd fix her up...  until she stopped eating a couple of days later( digestion is the first to shut down as the body prepares for death) and she never got better, never improved but just always stayed the same and just stagnated  and then suddenly died as the pneumonia turned to sepsis and she was semi-conscious and barely responsive most of the time and they only gave her a 50/50 chance(and told me that she was the sickest patient in the ICU!) and then I knew, but when she was first admitted it just seemed like any other hospital visit (and she was fine before and I had just visited her the week before and she was fine)so initially it came as quite a surprise what the outcome was 3 weeks later.

My Facebook friend's hubby was just given the same odds with his sepsis, too: 50-50% chance and I'm hoping his will go the other way but I'm skeptical as he's really agitated and having trouble breathing(they had my mother on assisted breathing) and keeps trying to pull all his "lines" out. They might have to sedate and intubate him? He's more conscious and aware than she was, but also struggling.I'm thankful at least my mother was calm and never had any pain. That was a blessing at least.

I also have a good nick-name for Beja, too: El Hermoso : The Handsome One , and when I told the 31 YR old that I graduated highschool on the Honour Roll he dismissed it, It must have been much easier and had lower standards back then! and I told him, Or maybe I'm just NOT as dumb as everyone thinks! even though the opposite is true and it's now  that schools are a joke; they don't even teach much academics but rather just propaganda, Political Correctness, LGBT agenda, environmental crap, and push the gov't indoctrination and narrative and conformity, and like someone online also commented now everyone gets a participation trophy, they automatically pass every idiot, no child left behind, etc.
Homeschool your kids!!
He also brags that he's "the smartest person he knows".....yeah...so "humble",too...ha,ha...and I DO hope it works out for him but it does seriously concern me as he even has trouble filling out forms and applications( for gov't stuff, for example, like passport forms) and always has to have his GF fill them out for him, so how the hell is he going to handle all the paperwork doctors are overwhelmed with, such as billing to the province? He also seems to have ADHD as well.

I also found dozens of clear latex gloves in the garbage when I was collecting it and rummaging thru it to sort out the garbage from the recycling and I wonder what the hell those were for?  He also got something in mail the other day I found  concerning to be worth asking about but he was evasive and refused to tell me.It seems he's always up to something sneaky/suspicious and anything that goes on in my house and under my roof automatically makes it my business.

We all play the same game of chance — most people are compulsively hopeful, rather than just dumb.-Jean-Marie Valheur
