The other day I ate an entire marzipan stollen, like the one pictured here. It was a Weed Day and I had The Munchies, plus, the marzipan stollen is really hard to find, at least around here, and last Christmas we couldn't even find it at all, so when we found one this year I got so excited I.....well, let's just say I was like a kid at Christmas and I couldn't contain myself. It also reminds me of another day recently when I took 2 cookies and my mother cracks, Is today a Weed Day? and I told her, No, if it was a Weed Day I would have eaten the entire box, not just 2 of them! One time when I had The Munchies I polished off an entire cherry pie and another I scarfed down half a box of Nanaimo bars. Nothing gets in-between me and my food, esp. on a Weed Day!
It's also been really mild( 10 C!) and lots of rain here lately, all the snow's been washed away and we even had a risk of a thunderstorm, in December, if you can believe it. I hate rain though, it's just so wet, gloomy and yucky. I'd rather have the snow,actually, at least it's pretty, magical and makes it feel more Christmas-y. The rain is just gross, and besides, you don't need an umbrella for the snow. Buddy hates both equally although I think he might hate the rain more as he refuses to do a shit in the rain but he will in the snow which is good since he can't hold it all winter and here winter is half the year!
