Frigid.

Yesterday and today it's frigid cold out, and I mean like in the Arctic frigid cold! We're also getting a major blizzard, Snowmageddon actually, a shitload of snow, incl. blowing snow, drifting snow and snowbanks. We really can't complain though as so far this winter we've only had really 2 small snowfalls and this is the first real snowstorm of any real significance. It's also oddly really cold too(after being unusually mild most of the winter); usually when it snows it's not too cold, but closer to 0 C but this weekend it's -20 C with a wind-chill of - 30 C. Pictured above is the Facebook post I posted yesterday that pretty much says it all. The snow's so deep poor Buddy gets buried and his low-rider belly gets wet with snow. I had to shovel out the poor little guy a pathway in the backyard to do his business because the township hasn't plowed out the sidewalks or even the roads yet.

As well I was also called anti-Semetic online just because I disagree with circumcision even though I wasn't even looking at it from a religious standpoint and wasn't even thinking along those lines( and I'm the least racist person!) but rather as a form of mutilation; I figure God must have put the foreskin there for a reason, and it's barbaric to basically chop off the end of your baby's weiner for no reason, no medical reason, and really no different than FGM; I mean, genital mutilation is still genital mutilation; why is it any different for girls than for boys? It isn't. Stop being sexist. It's also just like how the animal activists protest the cropping and docking of dogs' ears and tails; it's not done for any real reason other than aesthetics and to conform to the breed standard and cultural norms. I'm NOT racist against Jews or Muslims or anyone else that may do it; I'm just against the needless act of mutilating boys or anyone. Plus, I've seen it, one day when I went in the nursery to pick up my oldest( he's 30 this year) when they used to keep them in overnight I heard this god-awful scream and asked what it was and a nurse told me a baby was being circumsized. Don't tell me that they don't feel pain.My God, it was horrible. It sounded like he was being tortured. I have 5 sons and we never had any of them done. My mother also said once that her cousins had FGM done,too when they were living abroad somewhere decades ago. I think it's cruel.
