Meet The Kids.

This is the most recent photo I could find of myself( in the red floral dress on the left) and the kids. It was taken 12 years ago. It shows the kids that are still left, minus the 2 severely handicapped ones that we lost when they were 9 and 10 years old, several years ago. My hubby thinks I "forgot" about them because it's something we don't discuss, but I remember. Everyone just processes their own trauma, loss, and grief differently. I still think about them all the time and pray for them every day. Some things are just too painful to talk about. Most of the kids now have moved out, either away at school or out on their own, with only 4 still left at home now, with another due to go off to school this fall. 

# 1: The Oldest:

He turns 30 later this year. Very smart. Learned to read when he was 2 years old. Has university degree in Business and Finance but now works as a Machinist. Lives in Edmonton. Witty and clever. Funny and twisted.Great cook.Martial Arts.Avid reader.Makes the best vulgar jokes ever. Will always hold a special place in my heart.

She turns 29 at the end of the year. Has university degree in Media Arts. Lived and worked in Japan for a few years. Lives in Vancouver. Loves to travel. Loves Anime and all things Japanese.Martial Arts.

# 5:

Turns 25 later this year. Loves Jiu-Jitsu, Dungeons&Dragons, Warhammer, World of Warcraft,etc. spends hours playing computer games. Collects old rare books.Enjoys auctions.

Turns 23 next month. Loves Anime. Gifted at piano. Puzzle master. In last year of university(Psychology) but going to go for  her PhD. Wears all black.Collects odd things.Goth style.Lives in London.

#7:

21. Lives in Edmonton with his brother. Works in construction. Leukemia survivor. Almost died many times, before, during and after birth. Is a survivor. Always liked working with his hands.

#8:

Turns 20 soon.Graduates Journalism program this year, top of her class. Lives in Ottawa, where she was also born. Avid reader. Loves fish, but not to eat.Talented writer and artist.

#9:

Almost 18. Going off to school in Vancouver this fall for Fashion Design. Always drawn, designed and sewn clothing. She's a vegan. Obsessed with fashion and style. Diva.

Turns 16 in a couple of months. Loves the TV show Riverdale. Loves puppies. She has a part-time job at the grocery store, along with her sister.Does volunteer work.Computer hacker.

# 11:

The youngest. Turns 12 this month. He's a genius. Can recite 35+ digits of Pi. Skipped 3 grades ahead in school. Is in highschool. Can do complicated math equations in his head. Was born when I was 40.Loves video and computer games, esp. Mario, Kirby, Minecraft. Likes Classical music.Very tall. Has wild curly hair.
