Here are fresh-cut sunflowers I got that now reside in a vase in the livingroom. I hope to have them at my funeral one day, too. Good news! The 18 YR old can still go to the fashion design school in BC next month like originally planned afterall and she doesn't have to do the SAT! They worked it out so that being homeschooled she's seen sort of like a foreign student, who also wouldn't have the same transcripts from the local provincial school boards here but nevertheless are still educated, so what they said is when she's 19 she'll be registered as a "Mature" student and will have to take some sort of entrance exam, I assume sort of like the 2-day entrance exam I had to take when I applied to get into the Beverly Hills Prep School. I was accepted and my scores showed I was advanced in French so I was to get my own private tutor, but-get this- I was so behind in math I also needed a private tutor only that one I'd have to pay extra for. I never could figure that one out; why didn't the two just "balance" eachother out?
So now all is well again and a great relief and predicament lifted off but now there's still the question of whether she still qualifies for residence and she won't be able to ge t a student loan she's not "official" so we'll have to find out some other way to get a loan but God always has a way of working things out and for the best. I also mentioned my concern to her about the possibility is the 16 YR old taking drugs and she brushed it off as I'm just being "paranoid" but just because one is paranoid doesn't necessarily mean that they're wrong though, that something's still not "up" but I hope I'm wrong though.....
You'll also never guess what I had for breakfast; I had the strangest thing ever: a Big Mac! It was left on my place-setting on the table and so it was a nice surprise when I got up in the morning and I welcomed it joyfully and who am I to question it if someone leaves a Big Mac on my spot and I woke up ravenously hungry so I dug in! It reminds me of that time in Germany when I arrived at the Frankfurt airport at some godforsaken hour and had a McRib but for me I was still in another time zone and I was starving and my stomach told me it was time to eat, nevermind what the time says.... :D
