First Storm.

Last night we had our first thunderstorm of spring! It was raining all day and then during the night sometime around 1 am or so we got the storm and it was a good one too with thunder and ligthening. I just love a good thunderstorm at night when I'm curled up in bed all snuggly and warm under my covers with my window open but Buddy not so much; the poor dog was scared and trembling, whimpering and pressed himself as close to me as he possibly could. Dogs don't like and are afraid of loud noises such as thunder, fireworks and gunshots. It really freaks them out with their sensitve hearing. He also shunned me and gave me the silent treatment for awhile the other day because I gave him a bath( which he really needed) because he hates baths; he sits there nicely and lets me bath him but he doesn't like it and to protest and show his great displeasure he'll ignore me for about an hour or so. It's just so hilarious what a little diva he is. He also gives me judgemental looks when I smoke weed,too. We're supposed to have another storm tonight as well but it's at least supposed to be nice(19C) during the day so we can get outside again, which I love and is my fave. thing and really elevates my mood and does wonders for stress relief.

Today is also the youngest's birthday; he's now 14 and yesterday he finally went to the barber and got his hair cut after 3 months; I booked it online and just had the 17 YR old go up with him since my hubby always had some excuse why he couldn't take him and at I first I asked the 26 YR old as he's not as busy as the 17 YR old but he refused and kept giving me a hard time and he is notorious for always getting lost too so I decided on the 17 YR old. She complained too but at least she did it( why is it always so hard to get them to help out though all the time? Isn't that part of being a family is?) and she's more reliable and responsible than he is anyway and she also knows her way around town well,too. It was raining so my hubby at least did drop them off and then they walked back home and his hair looks really nice now. He really needed it! For his birthday treat he also has Pizza Hut pizza, boneless wings and seasoned breaksticks and a DairyQueen icecream cake. The 17 YR old also said she was surprised I even know what K-Pop even is (it's Korean "pussy" Pop music and all the band members are always pretty girls and pretty boys)but I know alot more than they think I do, and I think the Scottish Lady down the street( who has been a widow for a few years now and is likely in her early 60's and her husband was easily in his 80's and at first I thought he was her father) might have a BF as I've seen a guy around her place and her car's gone overnight alot,too, like maybe she's stayed at his place......oooooh....good for her! My neck is also so thick it's like a tree trunk too but at least it makes it harder for someone to choke me, and being ugly I'm also less likely tobe raped and being fat I'm harder to kidnap too so there's that; it's like my shield, my defence.
