THINGS I MISS FROM CHILDHOOD:

Going on the swings at the park and going so high you feel like you can fly.
- Hanging out with friends.
- Bike riding and skateboarding.
- The cottage.
-Camp.
-Hanging out with cousins who felt more like siblings.
- Sitting on the garage roof.
-Camp-outs in a tent in the backyard overnight with a friend.
- Horseback riding .
- Gymnastics.
- Christmases with now-dead relatives and summer visits with relatives
- Playing in puddles.
- Jumping in piles of leaves
- The wonder of each new day and new adventures each day.
- New discoveries and new wonders.
- Learning new stuff all the stuff.
- Being amazed by everything.
- Trusting people.
-Excitement, anticipation, and expectation.
-Hopes and dreams for the future.
-Bouncing around in the back of a Station Wagon.
- My Chihuahuas.
- Our old Toronto house.
- Having $$$$$
- Centre Island
-MAD Magazine.
- Hitting the tennis ball against the school wall.
- Tobogganning.
-Skating.
-Skiing.
- Rolling down the grassy hill.
- Catching frogs in the creek.
- Not knowing I was ugly.
- Feeling safe.
- No financial or other adult worries or stresses.
- Time seemed to move along slower.
- Being thin.
-No physical pain.
- The 70's.
- My beanbag chair.
- Playing outside.
- Running under the sprinkler.
- Climbing trees.
- The comic strips I used to draw.
No one will miss me when I'm gone but they won't forget me.
