The Chef.

The 14 YR old is way too skinny( shown here) he looks like a beanpole or a scarecrow; he's 6 feet tall and stick-thin and hardly eats and I worry he might have an eating disorder now too so my hubby ordered one meal a day from this online chef place for 2 weeks' worth for him as we had a 50% off coupon. They send all the ingredients and recipes in a box and each day you prepare and cook it, which we're having the 14 YR old do so not only to ensure he gets healthy balanced food each day  and to keep track of what he eats but also he gets to learn to cook as well which is also a life skill. So far he just did it the first day and he made yummy spicy beef tacos with cherry tomatoes, feta cheese, lime, etc.It took the poor kid 90 minutes to do as well( it takes me 15 minutes to make tacos but then again I've been doing it for over 40 years) as he was really slow chopping and cutting and he had to ask me if he was grating the lime rind right as he didn't think that could possibly be so right; so "primitive" grating it along the grater(it was) and how to get the lime juice out( so I told him how; cut it in half and just squeeze it out with your hand) and I saw him stirring his ground beef in the pan with a knife (I was secretly checking-in on him and was there for help) and I handed him a spatula and said here, this works much better!  and the inside of the beef was still pink and not cooked ebough but overall he did well, esp. considering it was his first time cooking and he'll learn and get better(and quicker) over time (nad who knows, maybe he'll even like  it and end up a chef one day like 2 of my cousins?)My hubby says he expects he'll give up and my mother will just end up doing it for  him because he's her precious pampered little prince and she bends over backwards to do everything  to serve him all except for wiping his ass....that I know of.

Someone also stole a neighbour's election lawn sign but it was replaced and yesterday as I was out with Buddy in front of our house a Conservative candidate stopped by and asked me why I support The 'Purple Guys'  and I told him due to the vaccine mandates and passports and he replied that they themselves don't really care either way and I told him that I do; that I'm really against it and think it would be everyone's choice; I'm for freedom and that's why I'm voting for them, and he said that strtegically if I want to oust Trudeau they're the "best choice" and I acknowledged that but said I also have to "vote with my conscience" and I added....but if My Party doesn't win then I hope you guys kick his ass!  and he laughed and told me to have a nice day. I also wonder too if maybe the reason the PM called the early election is he wants to lose and he's hoping he will as maybe he's fed up with the whole thing too and wants out but knows he can't just quit?

This is also a photo of raindrops on a sunflower after a storm and this morning I cut off the last 2 sunflowers except for a couple of really small buds still left I'm pretty sure will die before they can grow big enough to bloom esp. with the cooler weather coming and the stems are starting to fade to a golden yellow now from green so the plants are starting to die now, so it'll be like a sunflower "miscarriage", and where some of our relatives live when we had that big storm the other day they had tennis-ball sized hail and a tornado warning and my mother saw this girl on TV on a commercial and said she looks like she has Down Syndrome  too but she was just half-Chinese (oops!) and I also saw a commercial for that lame show Dancing With The Stars  too( they couldn't pay  me to watch) and I only recognized one  of the contestants; Brian Austin Green(I think he was on Desperate Housewives years ago) so I guess they must really be scraping the bottom of barrel as far as "Stars" go, and the Uber Eats  commercials feature 2 celebs at a time as well but I only ever recognize one in each commercial but not the other, such as in one I recognize Elton John but have no idea who the other guy is, and in another I recognize Olympic gymnast Simone Biles but have no idea who the guy is supposed to be, and in another I know it's the guy that plays Luke Skywalker in Star Wars but don't recognize the bald guy.

It's so cute as well one of Buddy's friends (Gidget the Poodle/Shih-Tzu) every time she walks by our house she'll bark and bark, "calling" for Buddy to come out, and yesterday the neighbours were out next-door smoking weed and it made my lungs "horny" and it's good they toke up too so at least that way they won't complain about me when I do; about the smell,and it must have been some really good the other day too as I found it just fascinating watching a neighbour's lawn maintenance guy across the street riding around on his lawn mower esp as he'd turn and go round and round in circles it just kept cracking me up and I found it hilariously funny, and in the news they said at Western University (where the 25 YR old goes studying Psychology) there have been over 75 reported cases of girls being  drugged and sexually assaulted in residence over the past few years too and police are investigating and then it hit me-I wonder if maybe something might have even happened to her- she did spend her first year in Residence- maybe that's what caused her eating disorder and residential treatment her first years? Maybe that was the trauma that triggered it and the reason she won't let anyone touch her and she even screams if anyone touches her? It makes sense unless I'm "reading" too much into it; she's always been a bit "off" so it could just be that but it does make you wonder with this new insight....
