The other day I switched the wreath on the front door, and brought out the baby palm tree for the back porch, the fern, and the hanging plants for the veranda and touched-up the garden gnomes(my hubby says they're "tacky" but they remind me of Germany) out on the pool deck(I have 7 little ones and 2 big ones around 3 feet fall) re-painting them. One of the big ones originally had black shoes but I didn't have any black paint so now he has a nice new pair of shiny silver shoes and one of the small ones used to have a yellow hat too but no yellow paint so it's now been re-painted green. Now we have to buy more red and black paint to finish the job.I also had to pick our tulips and daffodils from the front as that rabbit I've seen around was munching on the tulip petals and rabbits are like mice, squirrels, and raccoons, which are just like kids; they're cute but they're also a pain-in-the-ass that ruin things. I also saw the patio furniture I want is 65% off at Wayfair as well but even so it still costs over 700$, so still out of our price range, and yesterday child # 6 also turned 26; 26 on the 26th!Today my mother also finally sees her doctor and the 15 YR old has an app't with the barber.
They are also doing an independent inquiry on the gov't misuse of the Emergency Act to oppress freedom protesters brought on by the Civil Liberties Union and I say good for them and I hope they get accountability and action to prevent further abuses, and if I ever had a "spare" 44 billion$ lying around like Elon Musk did(to buy Twitter, and I'm glad he did so maybe now we'll finally get an "edit" button and be able to speak freely without getting our accounts suspended) the first thing I'd buy is an old-fashioned claw-foot bathtub like we had at our old house in Toronto that I loved and get all the much-needed house repairs finally done that we can't afford now, and go back to Jamaica once the oppressive travel bans for the unvaxxed are lifted, and me being banned from boarding a plane or train in this country and even being forbidden to leave the country unless I'm forced to get a vaccine would be the same as a border guard saying, I'll let you cross over but you'll have to give me a blow-job first. There's no difference. It's still coercion, and it's "funny" too how I have more in common with 2 of my hubby's brothers than I do with him; ome of them also likes weed and has the same music taste as I do,and another loves travelling and is well-travelled like I am, none of which my hubby is.
This is also my dream car; a Mustang, and my hubby says there's a truck that costs 68K as well, as much as a Tesla starts at! 68K just for a truck? What does it do? Does it fly or go on water, or what?and my Facebook friend who was suicidal and tried to kill himself is out of the hospital now and in a treatment centre for 18 months and I won't be hearing from him for awhile as he's not allowed to have a cell phone or social media for 6 months, but I will still pray for him every day, and I can also relate to my friend in Egypt( he lives in Giza where the pyramids are, where I've also been, as well as to Cairo, Luxor, Alexandria, and Sharm-el-Sheik) as he's different like me and he has his own tastes, style, and is a free-spirit( he even has dreadlocks!) and is alienated from his family and doesn't fit in with his conservative Egyptian society and is living in a place he doesn't belong and it affects him mentally and emotionally, and it's too bad that there isn't a place for people like us like in that Christmas TV special where they had the Land Of Misfit Toys where all the unloved rejected different "wrongly" made toys went where they all accepted eachother.
Yesterday I also got an e-mail from Facebook that one of my friends reported that my profile/page/ID had been hacked and someone was using my identity for fradulent purposes so I changed all my passwords for all my social media accounts and e-mail and I just hope that they don't also get my credit card and banking into(I also bank online) esp. since I did just order more weed online yesterday before I knew about it! People suck! Why do they have to be such assholes though? I used to be so gulliable as a kid too; I remember when I lived in the apartment the superintendant's daughter Bernice used to threaten me to play with her or else her father would kick us out of the building(so I did) and my so-called "friend" Ingrid in grade 2 or 3 that threatened me if I didn't play with her that she'd go to the Principal and so I agreed, not thinking why would he even care, but like I said, I was a dumb kid, but then I got smart fast and learned early NOT to trust anybody. My mother also said that Buddy is "lucky to have me" as he used to be abused and spend all day in a cage and I told her, I'm lucky to have him! and lately he's been even more crazy-obsessed with wanting to catch a mouse(or so I thought) in the rec-room but then the other day I heard one jump off a box and it landed with a big loud heavy thud! and there's no way that was any mouse! It definitely sounded like a much bigger animal that must have somehow got into our house when the door was open, but what? A rat? A squirrel? A rabbit? Or maybe even a raccoon? No wonder he's so keen on hunting it having picked up the scent! Holy shit!
Everything is beautiful in its own way.-Joe Cormier
