Happy Hippo Easter!

Happy hoppy hippo hippie Easter! I have to say I was surprised that I was able to find so many hippo Easter things out there! I'm still not able to find any actual hippo Easter chocolate though; that would be the ultimate but I still continue to look every year! This year Easter seemed to have creeped up on us even faster( although it does every year lately just like Christmas for some reason) and I completely forgot about getting an Easter lily and then this week when I finally remembered they were all gone so we don't have one this year. Shit. Tonight we're also having our Easter Feaster big dinner(and finally replace the Christmas table cloth we still have on the diningroom table! HA!)and my mother really over-did it and got 4 turkeys and 2 hams even though there's only 5 of us still at home now and no company this year; she's still cooking for an army as if everyone still lived at home; that's waaay too much food but she wanted to make sure we "had enough for left-overs". Well, no worry about that; we'll be eating ham and turkey for the next few weeks! We practically get a turkey or ham each!

Now we have no sound on the TV; it just suddenly stopped working and even my hubby(who is smart and not much stumps him) can't figure it out so I guess from now on we'll just have to use the closed caption subtitles and read it like deaf people do as we sure can't afford a new TV, and my cousins in Europe go to the cinema 2-3 times a week as well as live theatre and restaurants 1-2 times a week as well so either it costs less there or they must be rich, and whenever my mother asks for help everyone always scurries over to "help the poor old lady" too but when I need help with my medical issues they just scoff I'm "just being fat and lazy" and then they wonder  why I hate my family, think they suck, and want out.

The 22 YR old also said she's doing a podcast about my hubby's so-called "fashion style" or rather lack-of. His Go-To outfit and signature style is an orange T-shirt, tan pants, either black or white sneakers, and a ball cap. Mine is a tie-dye shirt, a long flowing gauze Bo-Ho hippie Peasant skirt and Converse Chuck Taylor  Hi-Tops.

I also heard in hospice they often ask the terminally ill patient Which 3 things matter most? and try to accomodate them before they die,and for me it would be:
To see my dog one last time
To smoke a joint
To have my music to listen to

I heard a funny joke: it is rumoured that Jesus will ressurrect this weekend to say F*ck Trudeau!
