This is the wonderful "Mexican Rice Milk" the 27 YR old made. He finally let me try it and it was soooo yummy! It's called Horchata and here is how he made it. Apparantly there are different ways to make it but here is his:
-cup long grain rice
-1 stick cinnamin
- 4 cups water
Blend them "roughly" so the mixture is coarse.Put in a bowl and add 4 more cups of water and mix. Leave it to marinade for 3 1/2 hours and add 1/2 cup sugar. Then blend it smooth into a liquid. Put in fridge to chill and serve with ice cubes and cinnamin stick or powdered cinnamin to garnish.
