This is what Happy looks like.
It's our tree now with all the tinsel and ornaments taken off. The lights are still on and it still stands all year in a small corner in the livingroom next to the wall calendar with tropical beaches and also where I have my candle. It is my little corner of zen, hygge, peace, quiet, serenity, and solitude in the house. My Happy Place in the winter, and I have outside on the back porch in the sun in the summer. I'm also thinking for my next trip I might go to Punta Cana DR in the spring once the weather is better for flying.(I never travel in the winter with the snow and high-risk of flight cancellations.) My friend J also complains this is a Communist country too with all the Big Brother bans, regulations, controls, lockdowns, etc. but actually it's Fascist; if it was Communist things would be way more affordable. My pee also smells like curry now as well and I still have the headache( now 11 days) and my back (left side)hurts even worse today too as well as a bad stabbing pain in my lower right abdomen and I still feel nauseated and like my stomach's been kicked by a horse..
Today I also had an early birthday( I turn 56 tomorrow, wouldn't it be "funny" if that's also the day I die, too?) mango Bubble tea drink for a treat as they only have it in another town nearby and my hubby's still off today but goes back to work tomorrow and has time and I bet none of the kids will even bother to phone or e-mail me with birthday wishes, either, or make me a card, etc.; they don't give a shit about me, and my mother saw her doctor today, too, who increased her insulin injection dosage and sees her again in 3 months and I think it's gross too how Pele and former Pope Benedict are on "display" for people to "view" as well, like pheasant under glass.
This is also what the tapioca beads look like in the Bubble tea, like fish eyes, and I was sitting out on the back porch smoking me a J and the biggest, brightest, reddest cardinal I've ever seen fly and landed on a bush right in front of me and it stayed there the whole time I was there, too, and I know if you see a cardinal close to New Year it's supposed to symbolize something, too, so when I went back inside I went online and checke4d and it said it's a sign of good fortune from God, that t's going to be a good year, and it can also mean an angel is near, or a deceased loved-one is watching over you, or the Natives also believe if you see a cardinal in a tree (like I did) that it's an omen (most likely in my case with my bad luck!) of bad luck or death...
Love is where you find it.-Kurt Vonnegut
