I can still remember the time I got my first "official" hair cut at a salon( not incl. the emergency run I had to make to my mother's stylist when I was in Kindergarten the evening on the second-last day of school after I was playing "barber" with my friend and chopped off my 2 long side ponytails and when they were let down my hair was uneven and choppy and she had to rush me to her salon, begging her stylist Mr.Anthony to stay open later to fix it and being a kind Jehovah's Witness man he did and I ended up with a really short "Pixie" cut which was good for summer. ) I had just graduated grade 8 and it was early summer and I went to the salon and got my long hair all chopped off before highschool into what was then called the Lady Di (later to be Princess Diana) cut, popular among girls everywhere and I liked it and my mother said it made me look "older" and said it was sort of a "tradition" to get your long hair cut into a short style before highschool and then shortly after my friend also went(I went with her) to have hers styled in the same way and it looked better on her though because she was pretty to begin with and I thought it was just the coolest thing that we both had the same hairstyle; we were like twins! We even had the same Converse Chuck Taylor hi-top shoes only in different colours and we'd swap so we'd each wear one of eachother's and have 2 different colour shoes. I also remember years ago too when my hubby's car got broken into and the thief stole his music cassettes( this was back when we had cassette tapes) but he left the redneck country tapes behind which made me laugh as even the thief had good taste in music and didn't even want to steal that crap!
Yesterday and today it also hurts at the back of my head just behind my left ear(even though I never injured it) like a really bad bruise when I touch it or lay on it so I had my hubby take a look to see if he could see anything(like a bruise) as I can't see that spot and he said there's a bulging vein so maybe it's a blood clot, or aneurysm, and for the past 2 days poor Buddy feels so bad the past couple of days as well he hasn't even come over to greet the 28 YR old when he comes home from work like he always does, either; he just stays in his bed and wags his tail when he comes over to see him, and at least the good thing is if I do die this month( being May is a bad luck month for us and most people in our family die in May) I can have lilacs( my fave.) at my funeral but when I die no one will even miss me because I'm nothing and I never accomplished anything and I don't matter and I don't mean anything to anyone.. I also saw a Junebug yesterday too even though it's only May so it's early and must be a "preemie."This morning I also saw cute little wet raccoon paw prints on the top of the pool cover.
My mother's so lazy as well she sleeps-in every day until 11 am or Noon and excuses she's "retired and can do whatever she wants" although I thought that most retired people got up early, and then she still goes back for nap around 2-3 pm and then naps until 5-6 pm and then goes to bed at 8pm so she pretty well spends most of the day in bed and she's trying to "cheat" on her blood test for the doctor as well; she didn't want to go and do it yesterday(and will try again today although she'll probably find some other excuse and "weasel" out of it again) as she said her glucose was "too high" and she didn't want it to show up on the test like that and have the doctor know she's been cheating on her diabetic diet. She also said she's "tired of" me "always complaining" and when I told her that she always complains too so what can she say she had the nerve to deny it and even said I don't complain! I never complain! When have I ever complained? Give me one example! and I reminded her about the dish she had me get for her and then she whined it was the "wrong one" and "not the one she wanted" even though it was perfectly fine and she complained "but it's not the one I want; I want the clear glass one, NOT the one with flowers on it!" and her "justification" for that complaint was It wasn't the one I wanted! That woman really is something!
