Yesterday I found these 2 funky baggy sunflower overalls online and am thinking of buying it for summer. It's just my perfect style. What do you think? Last night the 28 YR old was really late coming home from work( and I was worried!) and as it turned out they had a flat tire but luckily his boss had a spare and knows how to change it. He also surprised and shocked me (but made me really incredibly happy, too) the other day by saying thank you to me and not only once but twice for a favour I did for him; he needed his gi for jiu-jitsu early one morning and I was doing laundry but it might not be dry on time so I just put it in the dryer by itself (and left the rest of the load behind in the washing machine to dry later) so it would dry quicker and hopefully be dry on time( and it was, just on time, too!) and I commented, The laundry did itself because, remember, I'm 'lazy' and 'don't do anything' (his words to me recently) and he said grow up! and I reminded him I was just making a point and told him to stop being so mean to me and then he thanked me, twice, which was nice and really appreciated and hopefully also a lesson learned. The 23 YR old also "inherited" my migraines I used to have as well(I haven't had for years now since smoking weed) and my mother told me to tell her to "smoke weed because it really helps" and I wouldn't wish those on anybody except for maybe Trudeau because he's such a colossal asshole, and she likes to watch those "sappy" movies too I joke everyone Lives Sappily Ever After and I re-named the Pink Floyd song Comfortably Numb to Comfortably Dumb and there's a song(I think from Trooper) that goes...and Jerry is a garbage man...to ...and Jerry is a garbage can. I also put my baby palm tree back outside now it's warmer and we got soooo much rain it filled the pot all the way up to the top!
This weekend my hubby also goes to the American side of Niagara Falls to play in a chess tournament and he thinks the Americanos are going to let his unvaxxinated ass cross the border but he's still going to drive all that way( 5-6 hours or so) and take the chance, hoping they'll just do "random" checks and not ask him but knowing our luck guess who they're going to ask...and he'll make that long trip all for nothing and be refused entry and have to come back....you'll see...and yesterday I saw The Man With The Black Dog who told me he got back from "3 weeks vacation" and I thought that lucky f*cker, but he doesn't look suntanned... and when I asked him where he went he said the hospital in Kingston and said he had a heart-attack and the night before he said his arm hurt but he was playing pool and just thought he'd pulled a muscle but the next morning it had also spread to his chest so he went to the ER here....and the next thing he knew he woke up at the hospital in Kingston and he'd had stents put in! He spent 3 weeks in the hospital and lost 15 pounds(and he wasn't fat) and he said he was fit, in good shape, exercised and jogged and yet it still got him, so no matter how healthy and fit you are you're still not "immune" and that makes me feel better about my unhealthy(I hate exercise) lifestyle and he said he feels much better now. He's just 61,too, just a bit older than me. My mother also said she hates it when I yell and swear at at my piece-of-shit computer and rage and bang on the keyboard as it makes it hard for her to sleep and I reminded her that it was her choice to move her bed down into the rec-room where my computer is and that I had it there first for years before she decided to relocate and it's my space that she intruded upon..
Look up here, I'm in heavenI've got scars that can't be seenI've got drama, can't be stolenEverybody knows me now.-David Bowie
