Slices Of Life.

My hubby's voice is getting better now with his cold(instead of a croak or squeak) but he was so dizzy last night he almost tipped over and he had a long nap after work and both my mother and the 28 YR old were sneezing so they're getting the cold now,too, and I'm pretty sure I am now as well as this morning I woke up with that "funny" headache I always get just before a cold comes on plus I'm extra tired,too. Someone also finally noticed I shaved my head,too; the 16 YR old walked by and remarked, Why are you bald? and I told him I always do my Buzz Cut for summer, and my mother's diabetic scanner thing wasn't working and wouldn't scan and just kept beeping so the pharmacy delivered her a new one, and my mother didn't think I should have done laundry on Mother's Day,either, but people still needed clean towels and clean clothes and I saw someone else online say her kids "talk to her and treat her like a piece of garbage" too, just like my kids do to me and originally I had it in my will that my "assets" (such as they are; ha!) be divided equally among the 9 remaining kids but since only 2 of them bothered to acknowledge Mother's Day( the oldest and the 28 YR old) I've now decided that they're also the only ones I'll leave anything to when I die as well; if the others don't acknowledge me as their mother then I don't acknowledge them as my heirs,either. It works both ways.

The 28 YR old also likes that silly banana dog thing so much he even said he was thinking of originally ordering it himself so now he doesn't have to because I gave it to him so now everyone's happy, and last night the 16 YR old tried to cut the grass but only got half-way as he ran out of gas so now it looks really stupid; half cut and half long( but at least he was able to cut the dandilion part!)  so it's  half-assed grass,and then the mower  also started smoking too I hope doesn't mean it's broken and we need a new mower now,too( yet another expense we can't afford) but my hubby thinks it's just because the grass is too long( let's hope so!) and last night it was really weird,too: the TV news kept repeating the same thing over and over again, in a loop, I felt like I was in that stupid movie Groundhog Day and when I was really young I used to think that most people were inherently good,too, but now I'm older it's the opposite.I also found out why my baby palm tree on the back porch is dying: Buddy told me a damn cat keeps peeing on it! I hate cats! They're such assholes.

It was a cruel fate that one had to accept being born ugly.-Ari Setiawan
