In my opinion and own experiences 😌.
Watching and listening to my son. I have now Coached him 31 years.
But having his disability makes it hard for him to give a compliment or say something positive.
Everything always sounds rude or negative even though that's not what his intentions are.
Living with Autism is about reality not about think about hurting the other person's feelings.
My heart breaks for my youngest son because my older son with Autism is so critical of him. Because he loves him. But would never show because it was always negative energy.
Now we have come a long way. There still are no compliments. He's just not wired that way. But he hugs his little brother and says I love you little brotthy ❤.
Living with Autism is hard enough 😕.
But in my opinion. Society doesn't help. Because when these adults were children and in school as adolescents. There were bullied for who they were.
So of course they are afraid of rejection and don't want to be a part of society.
