Reject.

Take a look at that one potato at the top.

It's a reject.

Just like me.

It's my favourite one.

I know exactly how it feels; no one likes it or wants it and rejects it because it's different and ugly.

Buddy gave me a big scare yesterday. I thought he was dying. I was afraid that this was his last photo.

All day he kept straining trying to shit but nothing would come out except blood, both old(black) and new (bright red)  and I feared he either had an obstruction of some sort or internal bleeding. I kept  squeezing his sphincter ( yeah, gross, I know) sort of like "milking" a cow and gave him olive oil as a laxative and when that still didn't work I put on my glove and "rooted" around in there(I can't believe I shoved my thumb up my dog's ass but desperate times call for desperate measures and he was in so much pain he was really shaking) and I could feel the impacted shit; he really had a "log-jam" packed in tight in there and I was able to "dig" a bit out and he also wasn't eating and hadn't peed all day,either, and I was so afraid he was dying and his body was shutting down I was scared to fall asleep last night; scared he'd die during the night and I'd wake up this morning to find him dead and we both fell asleep with him snuggled in my arms all night and thank God he's still alive today....

and.....

he shit this morning! A nice glistening slippery turd came sliding out!(and I'm sure he must have lots more!)

Hallelujah!

The olive oil must have worked and I bet he feels much better!

I bet he has no idea either how I sit and just watch him sleeping, sadly knowing his life is coming to an end soon and it just breaks my heart.

I also found this little bird nest in one of my ferns I brought inside so I removed it and put it back outside for the bird family,  and Australians are hateful racists too as they had a referendum and the majority voted against giving Indigenous People more rights, and I noticed as well that 3 people in our neighbourhood already have the Christmas lights on their houses turned on, and Israel now bombed and killed innocent civilians trying to escape Gaza; they attacked their convoy, and they should just be going after the Hamas militants and leave the civilians alone on both sides, and reports say that both USA and Egyptian intelligence warned Israel ahead of time a few times about the Hamas attack,too, but they chose to ignore it,they allowed it and let their citizens be killed, which is just unthinkable,explaining why their defence systems were down at the time of the attack, likely as an excuse to try and "justify" annihilating the Palestinians in Gaza(even though 2 wrongs still don't make a "right") as revenge, and not all Palestinians support Hamas just like not all Jews support Israel and just because you're pro-Palestine doesn't mean you're pro-Hamas or anti-semitic and it's important to know the difference.
