This was the skirt we ordered for my Christmas gift from my hubby: pink, tulle, very "pouffy" and fluffy.
THIS is the skirt I got.
Not the same.
It's nowhere near as pink or as pouffy. It's barely a dull pink and even has some light brown in it ( at the lower part) and it's just 2 very thin layers of mesh and so thin you can see right thru it so I'll have to wear my black leggings underneath. At least it fits though, so I can still wear it, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed. I was expecting and hoping for a nice puffy fancy-looking skirt and it ended up very flat, drab, dull, and plain.
Just like me.
This is exactly why I'm hesitant to order stuff online because the product you end up receiving very rarely looks like ( or as good) as is pictured.
The story of my life though.
Looking forward to something and always get let-down and disappointed.
Today we're also supposed to get our first snowfall: 4-6 cm and tomorrow I see the Gastro doc and find out if I have cancer or not. Unlike most people, I'll actually be disappointed if I don't because it would finally be my way out, and I won't have to worry anymore about failed suicide attempts because I can just let nature take its course.
Everyone also needs a "handy" vase. We "inherited" this big pink vase( perfect for sunflowers, gladioli or lilacs) from my mother's friend that died, and her friend with the cell phone even gave us his "business" card too but it's funny since he's retired( he was an engineer) and so on the card it just has his photo and phone number and it has his name and says "Resident of ----------- LTC home" but looks like a professional business card otherwise. Yersterday I also must have had a really good nap in the afternoon as I woke up right out of a deep dream and I was disoriented and didn't know where I was, and my stomach hurt really bad yesterday as well, and whenever I ask a question my hubby always yells at me as well and talks "down" to me and says things like, What do you THINK? and you know how I sometimes see Shadow People walk by in the dining room? yesterday he said he saw a Shadow Dog walk by in there, too, and I asked what kind of dog it was and he said it was a Dachshund, just like Buddy, only I knew it wasn't him because he was with me, so maybe it's the Shadow People's dog? Now, normally people would think that's weird but I believed him because I've seen the Shadow People myself and at least now I know I'm NOT imagining it because now he saw it,too. Also, 20 years ago when we first moved here there were no homeless people either, they were just in the big cities but now they're here, too. Times are increasingly harder for everyone now.
Do I get horny? Sure, but i didn’t get to 70 without learning how to take care of myself in every way.-Mai Pins
