The Day After.

Yesterday for Mother's Day it was actually an OK day. I didn't expect anything from the kids or to hear from them so I wasn't disappointed and I did, in fact, actually get an e-mail greeting from the oldest( shown below) the only one, so it was a nice surprise! It was funny as well; both he and my hubby both sent me e-cards( my hubby's is shown here, the cute hippo one) and they were one on top of the other in my In-Box and I somehow got them confused and mixed them up and thought the one my hubby sent( the hippo) was the one my oldest sent and that the one my oldest sent was the one my hubby sent, so I replied to my hubby thinking  I was replying to the oldest and I also said I didn't understand the card and my hubby was confused saying, What's so hard to understand? It's a hippo.... HA!😂 The 29 YR old also gave me some of his yummy spicy gnocchi( shown in the photo at the bottom) for my Mother's Day gift but other than that I never even heard from any of the other kids, and I spent the day getting some sun, listening to Reggae,smoking a Big Fatty, and downloading a Blues song.

I also visited my mother yesterday and she just loved  the flowers I gave her and she crooned, Ooooh, they're just beautiful!! and I'm glad she likes them. I was worried she'd say something like, That's it? I just get flowers? Where's my gift? Don't I get anything else? but thankfully she didn't and she hit my hubby up for $$$ again,too, but he only had 5$ on him in the car plus a quarter he had to keep for the shopping cart at the grocery store. She also told me something sad,too: the day before one of her friends at the LTC home was running down the hallway and she fell and hit her head and got a brain hemmorage and died  the next morning! The 17 YR old also visited her yesterday as well for Mother's Day but he never even said  "Happy Mother's Day" to me  and he lives here.

My cough is also back again as well, and I heard someplace that wine tasting, cycling, and hiking are "White People Activities" and I don't care for any of them so I guess that means I'm NOT White then afterall, either(I've always felt Black on the inside) that or I'm a disgrace to my people, ha,ha, and my hubby said if he wins at the chess tournaments in USA he has to pay tax on his winnings, even,too,even if it's just 10$, that Uncle Sam takes its tax even before he gets his prize $$$ and then when he crosses the border he also has to fill out a bunch of paper work once he gets over to this side. Gov'ts are all just a bunch of $$$ hungry, $$$ grubbing greedy bastards that always have both hands in your pockets!

Sounds like a lost soul. Forever with but always apart from other people.-Daniel McBride
