On The Road Again.

They did it!

Our friends in California finally did make the move to NC like they'd originally planned until the hurricane delayed it but they still ended up going, just delayed.

They decided to drive, which surprised me since they have the $$$ to fly and just have their shit shipped but I guess Americans love the road trip thing. They rented 4 trucks( each driving one) and it took 7 days, going thru several states, and they stayed in hotels along the way.

They also took along 2 dogs and 1 cat,too.

Ugh.

We did end up having a storm yesterday as I thought, with lots and lots of rain,too, but we really needed it though, not having much this fall like we usually do( but I was glad though!) and today it's going up to 21C and breaking the 19 C record from 1971 and Buddy and I are able to sit back outside again(yahoo!!), and tomorrow too, going up to 22C or 23 C but that's probably it until spring though, assuming we're even still both alive by then, that is.

My hubby also dropped the car off this morning to get-gasp!- the snow tires- put on before the snow starts to fly and before the crowd and just a couple more days too and I won't have to keep skipping over the Christmas songs on my playlist anymore,either, but can just let them play until the end of January,too. I'm also going to do my shopping in November for Christmas( and I only have 3 gifts to even buy this year as I'm only buying for who got gifts for me last year; you get what you give) so it won't take too long and I refuse to shop in December as it's such a zoo!

My hubby also said it's looks really promising that the 25 YR old might get her

it's a Sci-Fi and the the owner of the publishing co. even contacted her personally too which looks good and he said there's even little "Easter Eggs" (hidden clues) in the story as well about everyone in our family,too, and I hate to think what she put in there about me; I'm probably the ugly troll, wicked witch, evil monster, or old hag,or something like Beetlejuice or Gollum,etc.

The Bloc Quebecois also said they're going to try and bring down the Trudeau Liberal gov't at the first opportunity after giving them a month's chance to increase seniors' pensions in "exchange" ( sort of like a blackmail) which they staunchly refuse to do, the cheap-ass bastards, they just need the support of other parties to do and the PC's will be happy to oblige,and, in fact, have already tried a few times before but no one else would back them up. If successful we can get an early election and a chance to finally get RID of that twat Trudeau once and for all! 

Even his own party want him out!!

I was also re-reading parts of my old blog just for the fun of it, for the memories and nostalgia, and it truly saddened me to see when I had my hysterectomy(a major abdomenal surgery) and was recovering  5 years or so ago none of the out-of-town/out-of-province kids even called or checked-in to see how it went or how I was, and I never even got any flowers or get well balloons, etc; nothing; no one here at home ever asked if I needed anything, and I had to get my own food ,drinks and pain relief, etc, no one cared in the least  and I was just left to fend for myself(although Buddy was really good at tending to me and guarding me ferociously, never leaving my side) and no one bothered to ever check-in on me, which just broke my heart, yet when my mother just fell and bruised her knee everyone called offering condolences and words of support, and "fawned" all over her,etc. It was nauseating and just broke my heart.

My family really are assholes and don't give a shit about me and never have.

Yesterday I had such a gooood sleep during my nap I even woke up out of a dream and this morning I woke up hearing my fave. Van Halen  song Jump! too, and tomorrow evening it's also supposed to rain on all the little occultists for Satan's Day so they're all going to get wet as they celebrate and glorify Satan's birthday, ha, ha!!
