Today we had this magnificient beautiful pink sunrise but of course it was so fast by the time I ran to get my camera for a photo it was gone. Doesn't it just figure? It likely also means a storm later on in the day, too, and lately it's been soooo dark in the mornings when I wake up as well it's pitch black, like in the middle of the night but this weekend we switch the clocks back an hour so hopefully it will be lighter in the mornings but sadly also dark around 4 pm,too.
Shit.
Oddly, I have also heard one of my fave songs Stairway To Heaven on the radio every day now for the past 5 days in a row(what are the odds of that?) and you know that Pink Floyd song Have A Cigar where it goes ...riding the GRAVY train...? I always thought it was ...Riding the CRAZY train and the other night someone requested the 30 YR old to sing a song at 'Da Club "an Old Retro song" and he was thinking from the 80's (I would have thought Frank Sinatra era) but they actually meant like Nirvana or Linkin Park....
from the 90's!
They think that the 90's is "old" and "Retro?"
holy shit does that ever make me feel old!!
This is also the fine French chicken dish the 17 YR old made last night , under the mentorship of the 30 YR old( they cook a dish together once a week) and I heard that there's over 2 million visits a month to foodbanks in this shithole, too, it's like a Third-World country with everything so unaffordable and so many people struggling,, and with people complaining about "too many" immigrants they seem to forget that we're *ALL* immigrants too unless we're Indigenous!
This is also the sunflower wall calendar I want for next year only to get in the stores as I'm NOT paying 20$ for shipping; the same as for the item itself as I'm NOT spending 40$ on a calendar and Canada Post is also planning a possible strike in a few days too but luckily my dreads are coming by international courier DHL from the UK (and I got an update it just cleared customs so it should be delivered soon!)so they should still be safe, thank God,and my hubby just remembered his driver's license expired on his birthday the other day but he didn't get a reminder to re-new in the mail or by e-mail like he usually does but luckily he remembered(before the cops pull him over!) and so he went to the office and got his photo re-done,etc.
I also like this dress I saw online, and I like how in Alex Van Halen's book he described fans going to concerts as they don't come to hear the music as such but more so to see the band and for the experience and that's the part I think that my hubby just doesn't understand; he's always griping, Why don't you just buy the record? Someone else also asked me asbout the World Series again and I have no idea who is even playing and nor do I even care, and since last December I've also been injecting my mother's left-over insulin (Ozempic-style) to lose weight(and as well as a preventive measure as my bloodwork showed I am "pre-diabetic" as well) which has been working but lately I noticed I've been hungry again and the weight's been creeping back on and I noticed it had expired in July.
F*ck.
Maybe I'm just meant to be an ugly fat f*ck?
We all have an internal world inside our brain where we've spent a lot of time and hidden out when we've needed safety, especially from social events.-Rich
