Danger Zone.

This is the poor souvlaki that I for some reason (I don't know where my head was at!) accidently over-cooked yesterday!  I know it's only supposed to be for 35-40 minutes but for some reason I put it in for 75 minutes, I guess mixing it up with the buttermilk chicken....and this is the result. So burned and well-done it was sooo hard and leather-y even Buddy couldn't chew it, esp. with just 2 teeth left in his old age( just like my mother) but luckily we had more( for next week) I just cooked and started over again. My BP was also continuously high ALL DAY yesterday as well, not just in the morning at 177/91. I took it thru the day and it was a bit lower 3 HRS later(after I'd taken an extra BP pill to bring it down) but still high: 158/94 and then later it was back up again 163/84 and then later on in the day the worst yet at 184/91 and this morning I thought maybe it was back down ok as I felt OK, no headache or anything but it's still waaay too high; heart & stroke risk level, at 171/95!
Normal is 120/80 in case you were wondering.
I guess I have to see my doc for medication change or increase but the problem with that is I can never reach him(and they're closed Fridays) as they never answer their phone and they do have an answering machine but NOT to leave a message, and I'm really in the Danger Zone level now and I could potentially have a heart-attack or stroke at any moment, with the worst being the systolic (the top number reading) how much pressure my heart has to exert pumping blood out to the rest of my body; it shows that it's really struggling. Both fatal heart-attacks and strokes run in my family(as well as colon cancer) so it's likely that's how I'll die but hey, at least it'll be quick!

Now this is how the souvlaki is supposed to look. Cooked but NOT black and burned (Cajun-style, ha,ha) and looking on the "bright side" at least a good thing about Trump is he'll have RFK Jr. in his gov't who is an ardent anti-vaxxer so NOT very likely to push the aggressive Covid vaccines on people like before and I heard as well that Kamala Harris went to Howard University in D.C  as well and that's the same university one of my Facebook friends got her psychology degree from, too, and sad as well; this one guy online made a bet if Trump wins that he'd cut off his dreadlocks  too and he actually did and showed a photo of the poor chopped-off locs in a sink and it was just the saddest thing ever.

This is also my newest updated avatar on Facebook. They changed them so we had to all make new ones and I would have liked to have had longer thinner dreads but the hairstyles were limited and this was the best I could do but I still think it turned out pretty good and I'm glad I finally could find the tie-dye! I was also hoping for my "signature" Converse Chuck Taylor Hi-Tops but I do like the tie-dye Crocs, too.

It's also a good thing my friend P (from grade 6) just got back from Cuba in time, too, as now they have a Cat 3 hurricane that knocked out electric power in the entire island and I also heard there's a really baaad wildfire in California too in Camarillo and that's the exact same town the 30 YR old's ex-GF and her family lived before they just moved at the end of October to NC so they got out just in time! The odds are their old house is probably gone now.
Holy shit!

The 30 YR old also said he met his GF( who he still insists is "just a friend" but I know better )at a party he "crashed" and I know I must truly be old now, too, as yesterday as I was sitting out the front I saw this guy go by on a bike and he had a grey beard and I was checking him out; he wasn't "too old" for me and I still found him attractive, proving that *I* must be old, too! HA!

Then… I cry. Quietly. Soundlessly. And not in front of anyone, I hate people seeing that. But, it hurts. Over and over. And wonder why I am here, what good is it, how can I be so stupid, so bad at understanding when I am trying so hard.-Angela Bingham
