Yesterday the 30 YR old painted 2 more paintings( shown here) he gave one to his GF (whose birthday was yesterday; she turned 33, and he said she grew up Homesteading, too, growing their own food, making their own clothes, etc. living off the land, I think is cool, like pioneers) and is going to give one to his boss, recovering from surgery, and who he said is "all drugged up on 'Oxy'" and when I had MY surgeries I only got Morphine once which I only needed for the first 2 days but with all the others all I got was lousy Tylenol) and I asked him if I could borrow some of his paints so I could paint a picture of sunflowers but he refused, saying they're "too expensive" ( 75$ each!) and that I "don't know what I'm doing" and I'll "ruin" them( whatever that's supposed to mean) and that hurt me,(and he always acts like he knows everything and is an expert( just like my hubby)at everything and everyone thinks I'm just a big dummy),esp. when I did study art for 6 years, so my hubby ended up picking me up some supplies at the Dollar Store or Wal-Mart or whereever, cheap stuff like always but I'm used to always getting crap and having to settle so I'll just have to make do like I always do.
Yesterday and today Buddy also keeps horking up blood and clots and I worried where it was coming from and then I saw the source: one of the last 2 teeth he has left( at the bottom) is rotten and coming loose and it's coming from there but it's alot and now there's blood all over the place(and all over me) and he kept waking me up during the night to fix him so I didn't get much sleep last night and I was surprised yesterday as well to get a 45$ bill in the mail for my mother's ambulance she took to the ER even though it WAS warranted since she ended up dying and in 2 more days it'll be 2 weeks since she died too even though it seems longer and today I have that call with the people to cancel all her accounts and at least I can rest easy knowing I did right by her; I found her a good LTC home where she was happy and visited her weekly, I fought for her at the hospital and I followed her funeral wishes as she wanted.
They've also finally rented the house at the corner too as this morning I noticed the sign is finally gone off the lawn, a light was on upstairs, a car in the driveway and they had garbage put out for pick-up, unless, of course, the owners just set it up to look like someone's living there so people won't know it's empty and vandalize it(or break into it like happened to our house before we moved in), and they said on the news that kids in school will be suspended if they aren't up-to-date with all their vaccines, yet another reason to homeschool your kids, among many, many others.
There are also really bad wildfires raging in California again(so a good thing my friend moved!) so maybe that was why we didn't end up staying there long or get too settled when my mother and I lived there in 1984; God knows ahead of time what's going to happen so maybe He was sparing us in the future, but I also have to wonder why though it had to go as far as it did if it wasn't meant to work out though, like how come my mother had to study for and take her State Board exams(which she passed first try) so she'd be licensed to practice in California and why I had to take the entrance exam at the Beverly Hills Prep School (which I passed except for math of course, and required a private tutor for I had to pay extra, even though I also got a private tutor for French too because I was so advanced but that one I didn't have to pay extra) and why we had to pay so much $$$ buying furniture when we moved there....and then again once we moved back....all for nothing. Why did it even have to go as far as it did if it wasn't going to end up working out, anyway? We just got our hopes up and our dreams shattered all for nothing.
The story of my life.
The family I had nurtured from infancy all acted like I was invisible.-Philip
