Today's Musing.

The Friend Request.

Yesterday I enjoyed my fave. pop, the mango one from Jarritos from Mexico(and the Rasta doll in the photo I got in Grand Turk, the crochet sunflower I got at the CNE and the rock painted with daisies my mother did), and I really needed a treat after everything lately and then later yesterday the most amazing thing happened!
I got a Facebook friend request from Joe Elliot!
Yes! Really!
It was his 65th birthday and I left a comment on the Def Leppard page and he sent me a friend request! I also remember awhile before he'd liked another one of my posts, too. This has got to be one of the coolest  things that has ever happened to me!
eeeee!!!
Amazing things like this just don't happen to me.
Except it did!
Holy shit, I can't believe it!
Someone famous like that actually requested a friend from a nobody like me!
Of course I accepted!
I have always loved Def Leppard ever since the 80's; one of my fave. bands( and he's such a hunk, too!) and I finally got to see them live several years ago, too; it was an outdoor summer concert and it was pouring rain  and I got absolutely soaking drenched but I didn't care( even as much as I hate rain!) it was still the best concert ever and I had a great time!
Come to think of it, I've been to lots of amazing concerts.

I also like this shirt( it looks like our Persian rug we have in the diningroom) but I'll never order clothes online ever again, tired of getting ripped-off, and yesterday I also had That Headache again, too, I woke up with it and had it all day and nothing worked to get rid of it, not even weed, and it also felt like something was "dripping" on the inside of my head on the right side, and I wonder too having my cough for the past 2-3 years if it is cancer...or perhaps maybe even TB, which my hubby's mother did have years ago, and it would also explain the cough, the "hork" I have lots of, and the fatigue...Now it's Feb. I also have to skip the Christmas songs on my device now(I only listen to from Nov. to the end of Jan.) and I heard part of REO Speedwagon 's High Infidelity tour on the radio the other day too and it brought back memories as I actually saw that tour way back in 1981 and it was one of the first concerts I went to, and they were an hour late and everyone was rioting, setting fires and throwing chairs, etc.
It was epic.

I also can't believe that my mother's entire physical earthly life is now all contained in a small marble urn, and I don't really miss her(as she was bossy, demanding, controlling, and we didn't get along as she wasn't really nice to me and interferred with my kids) but rather miss her presence in our lives, and once Buddy's gone without him my darkness will be beyond complete, and I heard another helicopter crashed just after take-off now as well; transporting a pediatric patient and it makes me wonder too if maybe someone's now purposely sabotaging helicopters, that can be over-ridden and controlled remotely....it just makes me wonder...It also looks like flamingoes have their knees on backwards, and yesterday I had such a good nap when I woke up I didn't know where I was, what day it was, or what room I was in, and the good thing about being poor too is at least I don't have to worry about the Capital Gains Tax!

Love them when they're here and let them go when it's their time.
