Yesterday I finally got the home insurance done! I saw the insurance guy and got a new policy, in my name, and it was even around 1 K less than our previous one,too, so I even saved $$$!(I'll put aside for any repairs that might come along) At first I was confused because the guy was saying it covers limited flooding( not if the bay overflows, but we're on higher ground and far enough away from it it's not a high risk, but if the sewer backs up or a watermain breaks or our pipes burst but oddly not if our pool leaks into the house) but no mention of fire damage or theft but then he said it IS incl, as it's standard. It's such a relief to finally have that all done!
It feels like a win and an accomplishment and I really needed that lately.

One of the people working there also recognized the name and said she's the mother of one of our kids' friends,too! In a small town you're always running into someone you know or who knows you. So we have 2.5 million$$$ in coverage; 1.5 million $$$ for the house itself and 1 million$$$ for the contents, plus an additional 450K for living expenses while we're out of the house for repairs, like how we had to stay at a motel for 10 weeks last time after we had the fire in 1996.
Now Buddy's old he pretty much pees and shits in the house all the time now and he's lucky that I love him so much to put up with this crap but I still am fed-up with it, and I still have the really baaad abdomenal, back,and stomach pain, too, sweaty, and chest pain today as well, likely due to all my coughing, and I also had a thought: what if That Headache and pain behind my eyes I frequently get isn't sinus like I thought afterall but an unruptured brain aneurysm instead?I also heard Stairway To Heaven again this morning. I've been hearing it alot lately.
Today is also Bob Marley's birthday( he would have been 80) and now with shitgibbon Trump's tariff and annexation threats people are boycotting American goods and just buying Canadian and I'll buy whatever, not necessarily just Canadian, just NOT American, and now due to the Avian Flu eggs in USA cost 15$ a dozen so we should export more to them....and add a 25% tariff, ha, ha, and I also heard Trump is the first US Prez to attend the Super Bowl, probably because he's the also the most low-class( and also proof that $$$ can't buy class!) and the cheapest tickets cost 4K ( they couldn't even pay me that to go!) which would take the rednecks a long time saving up all their welfare checks to be able to go,ha,ha, and it would also be the perfect chance for someone to assassinate him,too, please,please,please... and if you really want to know his Fascist agenda look up Project 2025. Whenever I read about someone's medical crisis online I also always hope they're NOT from USA,too, as they'd go bankrupt paying for medical care and then a sigh of relief when I see they're from Canada, Europe, or Australia,etc.It's also really snowing out there now as well and on Saturday we're supposed to get an even bigger one!
