Winter Wonderland.

We got 10 cm of snow yesterday and now it's all hard and crunchy and everything's all coated in a thick layer of white and it looks like a winter wonderland fairytale snowglobe. I tried to upload a video I took of it snowing too which worked on Facebook  and Twitter  but didn't work here, saying it exceeded the limit of something-or-other. We're also supposed to get freezing rain and ice pellets Thursday and 5 more systems over the next 2 weeks, too.

Last night I sat out on the front veranda smoking mi ganja and watching the snow come down and when I went up to bed for the night I also lay down for awhile before and just looked out the window watching the snow fall as it's so peaceful and as much as I love and miss summer you still have to admit that the snow is beautiful, esp. when it's just coming down and it's all fresh and pristine and everything around is just silent and serene. It also reminds me of winters in Jr. High when my friend D and I would go skating and as a kid as well going toboganning down the big hill at school.

Tomorrow I also have an app't with the insurance people so I hope it's finally all settled and we're still getting mail for my mother, too, even though she died at the end of December and everyone was informed so how long is it going to take, and tomorrow child # 7 turns 27 and the day after is Bob Marley's birthday "anniversary" as well. A friend also said to get another dog now so that the pain is less once Buddy's gone but I won't because it will make him feel like he's being "replaced" and he'll feel jealous and sad and it will hurt his feelings. I'll have to wait until after he's gone.

I also had this weird dream last night too all these people came over(which is weird because we hardly ever have visitors and I don't like having people over at the house) and they brought dozens of dogs and I made them put them out in the backyard and in the basement, not wanting them to upset or hurt Buddy, and  I couldn't find Buddy either and kept looking all over for him, and the 30 YR old hasn't been home in a few days and I guess I'm going to have to eat the food I saved for him before it all goes bad.

She beat up the wall, made the wall cry for mercy, and stood atop the wall like the Colossus of Rhodes declaring victory as it crumbled.
