Come From Away.

Yesterday was an amazing 13 C out so Buddy and I were outside 4 hours again! This morning it's back to a cold -6C! Eeeeek!! My face is so sunburned now my eyes are even swollen half-shut and it's even harder to see now and everything's all blurry! HA!  I also finally got a ticket to see the musical Come From Away  at the Royal Alexandra Theatre in Toronto not this upcoming Saturday but the one after! Eeeee!! I can hardly wait!! I've wanted to see this for soooo long and I haven't been to live theatre in forever ! When I lived in the city my mother and I went to see live performances all the time and I also did in Ottawa as well and I miss them. I think the dress code is fancy as well so I even get to dress up,too!  They also have this stupid rule once you're in you can't leave for the entire 2 hours, not even to go pee so I'm going to have to wear a diaper like I did for the concert!

My hubby's not too happy having to drive me, even though he doesn't mind if it's something for him, such as for FanExpo  or for him going to the airport or dropping off/picking up the kids there, so he can take me once or twice a year, too, but anything for me it's always such a hassle even though I hardly go anywhere. He says I'm "manipulating" him too when really I'm just trying to make a point. He said he'd rather drive 5 hours each way to London or Montreal than downtown Toronto. He said my mother and I had "our turn" doing all our travelling before and now it's "his turn" even though that's a load of crap; he doesn't even like travelling( so it's not like he's missing out) and I had to practically force him to come on the cruise to Hawaii, which was even a belated Honeymoon!

For the past 2 days I got to enjoy doing my 2 fave. things in the world: cuddling with My Boy and sitting outside, feeling the warmth of the sun on my face and enjoying fresh air, the breeze, and hearing birds singing. It doesn't get much better than this and it's true that the best things in life are free and it's the Little Things that bring the most joy.  It's also melting so much now alot of the snow is gone and I can even see grass and as the snow melts and drips off the roof and side of the house it sounds like raindrops. I'm so out-of-focus lately as well when I bagged and tagged the full garbage bag yesterday I forgot to put a new one in and my hubby comes in wanting to throw something out and he goes, No garbage? and then I remembered and had to go and get a new one and set it up.
Duh.

These are also my "famous" mis-matched "crappy" odd shoes that I always wear outside in the yard and my hubby had this smart idea how to fix the broken pump lid on my new bottle of moisturizer that someone broke off and it doesn't pump: he said to just  switch and take the pump lid off the old one that's almost all used up and put it on the broken new one....and it actually worked! That's a good thing about knowing someone smart; whenever there's a problem they can usually figure out a solution, but the bad thing is that they also always "lord" their superior intelligence over us lowly less-intelligent ones and look "down" on us and are condescending as well, and I found out too Swiss Chalet sells fish now, too, and that's just wrong. It would be like Red Lobster selling chicken.

This is also one of many rips, tears, and holes I have in the canopy roof of the shelter on the back porch where I sit, but when the sun moves off the porch it still peeks thru the hole here in the canopy just before it disappears completely, giving me a few precious more minutes of sun to enjoy, and my hubby's going to have to replace the canopy as well( ruiined by the winter snow and wind) or else I won't have any shade and shelter from the sun once it gets really hot later.

Check this out and see how truly dumb Trump is: he wrote "your" instead of "you're."
Someone's definitely NOT smarter than a fifth grader! HA!😂 I've always been such a rebel as well I heard there was this stupid law you can't eat an orange in a bathtub in California so one of the first things I did when I moved there in 1984 was eat an orange in the tub, just to stick it to The Man!

I also saw this, bringing me back to my childhood in the 70's as that's what nailpolish looked like back then and my fave. one was the light pink pearl. I can still remember my older cousin putting it on my nails when I was a kid. The pink pearl or clear was the only colour my mother allowed me to have. Also if I knew then what I know now I never would have gotten married or had kids. It's just NOT worth all the pain, suffering, anxiety, worry, fear, stress, and trauma I endured. I just got all the shit and none of the joy.I just didn't get the return on investment I was hoping for. and in the end it was all for nothing and not worth it.It's one of my biggest regrets  and ruined my life.
