Bork.

Today would have been my mother's 84 th birthday.I wonder if any of the kids even remember?
It's also her first birthday without her(and we'd normally go to our fave. Italian restaurant to celebrate) and my hubby said Did you get her anything? and I told him off for being such a thoughtless clod. I would have given her nice flowers that she would have loved except that they don't deliver that far. It would also be kind of cool I think too if I died today, on her birthday. I also wonder if maybe she had Haemophilus Influenzae, a bacteria that causes pneumonia, cellulitis, and sepsis( all of which she had) and can also cause meningitis. It commonly affects very young kids or old folks or immune-compromised people and that was what caused everything that contributed to her downfall and eventual death?
I also saw the word bark either mis-spelled or just gramatically wrong English online as bork ( as in "My dog kept borking ")and it just struck me as the funniest thing ever and cracked me up and now it's my new favourite word.
bork.
Everyone's lawn is also now so brown and dry with no rain for awhile but at least we don't have to cut it and I also had this weird dream both my legs were amputated but at least the good was I didn't weigh as much or have any trouble with leg-room on planes anymore! HA!

My hubby's finally given up on anyone actually coming to fix the fence as well and said it would be cheaper to just fly the 27 YR old ( who does construction for a living and would likely do it faster and right) from Edmonton to do it( although I don't know if he ever actually discussed it with him to see if he's willing to do it) and I hope he'd pay him) and this morning Beja did shit on the mat in front of the toilet  in the bathroom and my hubby saw it when he went in for a shower but instead of just, you know, cleaning it up and flushing it away himself since he was already there he brought it out and left it in the hallway for me to clean and Beja also ruins the mood when we try to do IT as well by biting my hubby's hands, feet, and ears and he thinks he's "protecting" me(ha,ha) and not only does he bark(or is that "bork?") when someone's at the door( or even just on the veranda) but also alerts me  and barks when the oven timer goes off or the phone rings which is good because I often don't hear it. Sometimes I still automatically accidently call him "Buddy" too and then I feel badly and so sad.

Yesterday I thought he'd come in the room and I greeted him with a cheerful, Hello, my Little Boo-Boo! but it was actually the 18 YR old instead and he groused, Don't call me that! ha,ha, and Beja's eyes used to be a beautiful emerald green, too, and now changing to brown like every other Chihuahua and it makes me sad as I liked it that he was unique but he's still MY special Little Peanut.

You’re not old… you’re vintage. Like this wine. And my back pain.-Dolt.
