Well, we found out why we never had any hot water yesterday.
After my hubby got home from pickleball( yes, I know; pickleball again!) which was early as he got rained out he took a look at the hot water tank.....and it was leaking.
and we had a flood on the basement floor.( shown above and below)
so he called the HVAC company( luckily we just rent the hot water tank so we didn't have to pay for the call or the repair) and they actually came later yesterday at supper time. To my surprise it was 3 Indian guys, incl. one wearing a turban(and you don't generally see guys from India working in the trades; they usually go into the Sciences such as medicine, engineering, I.T, etc.) and I had to warn the 30 YR old to NOT make any Pajeet jokes or racist comments. It's sad though; India is a country with such a rich history and culture and he just sees them as a bunch of street-shitters.
One guy noticed my Tom Petty shirt as well and said he likes him, too.
It turned out it was just old and leaking from wear and tear and we needed a new hot water tank which they installed and took about an hour and the glue they used smelled soooo strong and so bad I could even smell it all the way upstairs and it gave me a headache and I think might have even fried a few brain cells as well.
I have to say it's nice this morning to finally have hot water back again for my bath (even if the water WAS a rusty brown colour; I was just grateful to have hot water back again) and it's true:
you don't know what you've got until it's gone.
It wasn't as hot as it used to be, and it ran out quickly but I'll take it.

Yesterday and today my stomach, abdomenal, and lower back pain is also sooooo bad I just want to scream and my cough's worse, too, and I I saw a paratrooper jumping out of a plane with his bright orange parachute, and it's so cold(and feels like fall) now too I had to switch from my shorts, T-shirt and going barefoot to long pants, long-sleeve shirts and socks now and will probably even have to close my bedroom window soon and even -gasp-start putting the furnace on soon too although I'm trying to put that off as long as possible.

It's also been exactly 5 months today Buddy died.
I was supposed to die with him and I wanted to die with him and I still don't know why I didn't and why God still keeps me alive only to prolong my suffering in life.
In the meantime at least there are still sunflowers.

I also like looking up at the clouds and I know Buddy's out there somewhere waiting for me, and Beja is still not quite himself as he still does cuddle and snuggle with me on my lap when I'm at the computer or when I'm outside....but now he won't snuggle up with me in bed anymore or have naps with me anymore, and he won't go on the bed with my hubby, either( so it's not just me) and runs and hides under the table; it seems to have something to do with the bed he's afraid of, like something happened in bed or during the night that traumatized him....

See this guy?
Apparantly there's some controversy.
All I see is the typical redneck.
A guy who likely lives in a trailer park, flies the Confederate flag, voted for Trump, etc. You know the type.
Except he's NOT.
You can't tell by looking and things are not what they appear.
......

It's really actually THIS guy!
Really!
A Black guy( some comedian named Druski I enever heard of until now) just dressed up and made up to LOOK like a White guy/redneck!
Holy shit, what an excellent job! You can't tell and it sure had me fooled!
I don't see anything "wrong" with it though; it's just a person playing a part; like an actor playing a character in a role.
....and a damn good job,too!!
The world moves on, but I’m frozen in the day you left. I don’t know how to exist without you.-George Rodriguez
