Rest & Recovery.

This is the hilarious anniversary card my hubby made for me using AI of me years ago when I was bald and wearing the blouse I bought in Santorini, riding a hippo. I love it and it made me laugh! Since we're both still sick we post-poned our late anniversary dinner to next week. Today I'm still sick (and now I have The Shits and it just squirts right out so I have to be really fast to make it to the bathroom in time!!) but I feel much better than yesterday simply because I slept last night and sleep does wonders! I also found my hubby asleep on his recliner again this morning before work as his shower wiped him out. Beja can also sense I'm not well as yesterday he stayed with me my entire nap time and even sat right on top of me, guarding me,too. He's a good little nurse.I also heard there's apparantly a bad Flu going around so it's probably what I have.

My hubby also says he plans to go to a chess tournament the weekend starting the day after Christmas in Montreal but this time of year isn't usually good for travel,driving or flying in winter with the snow, but today and tomorrow it's 7C and -yuck- rain  which I hope doesn't wash all the snow away as exactly a week today is Christmas Eve and I hope we still have snow! Beja also did a dookie on the little rug in the bathroom(maybe he thought it was his pee pad?) but I guess technically he's NOT wrong though since it WAS in the bathroom  and it was next to the toilet for me to easily flush away, and I hope when the 31 YR old moves out that he stays out and doesn't come back, esp. since it took this long  to finally  get him to leave(we joked we sell the house with him still in it) and I'll have my dog back, and I can't believe it's been a year already since my mother died,either; it's actually gone by so fast and I can't believe that I made it thru.

Rob Reiner's son was also arrested for his and his wife's brutal murders and their daughter found them and I can't even imagine, not only finding anyone dead with their throats slit, covered in blood, but your own parents  and knowing that your brother did  it.....oh, my God, that's just beyond horrible,and it doesn't necessarily mean that they were abusive parents,either, and the other kids seem fine, sometimes kids are just "wired" wrong, and no one deserves to die like that either.

Except for pedophiles.
