Yesterday was the scheduled power outage from 8 am only it wasn't the entire 4 HRS like they'd predicted; it ended at 10:40 am. We were outside all morning but it was Beja who noticed it was back and he kept barking and jumping up and down at the back door to let me know....and sure enough he was right' the lights were back on but I have no idea how he knew from outside with the door closed. He can also tell time, too, because every day exactly on time he knows when it's nap time and time for my hubby to be finished work and come downstairs and he waits for him and barks at him to hurry up if he's late! 😂
At first I thought maybe the power outage was because of the guy I saw up in the "box" thing on the long "crane" cutting the trees away from the hydro wires (I call "Treeboy") turning off the power so he doesn't electrocute himself in case he accidently touches the wires with his clippers but my hubby said he saw them taking down and putting up an entirely new hydro pole and transformer on our street so it must have been that, or maybe both at the same time?

Look at our mulberry trees( here and below) how creepy, eerie, and gnarly they look without leaves and I saw my Angel Bird again yesterday as well and he came right up to me sitting on the porch and I WAS also going to leave out my patio cushions during the night for today since it wasn't going to rain but decided to bring them in overnight anyway so the racoons(trash bandits) didn't mess with them....and it's a good thing I did because it did end up raining overnight(unforecasted!) afterall...alot... and I also saw who I call Mr. & Mrs. LoveDove again too I see every year, the male & female dove mates.

I also noticed one of the neighbours still have their outdoor CHRISTMAS wreaths out on their windows even though it's already the middle of May and it was also 30 YRS ago we had the fire, on the Victoria Day holiday so now every long May holiday weekend it makes me nervous.

These are also our vine leaves starting to open, so cute such little tiny baby leaves and if you look closely you can see the little fruit, too. Things seem to be late blooming this year, likely from the cool temps and all the rain, incl. the lilacs and I always look forward every year to getting a bunch so my house smells just wunnerbar-gut!

The maple tree also now has all the leaves out and I read online some asshole saying victims who are bullied "deserve" it for being ugly or weird I thought was heartless and cruel.
You can't help being what you are and it doesn't give anyone the "right" to torment you.
No one "deserves" it.
I was mercilessly bullied and even now at age 59 the scars still remain.

I also made this yummy Marinara and Mozarella filled fried gnocchi coated with Parmesan and it was just soooo good and next weekend my hubby is away at another chess tournament again leaving the youngest and I home so we'll order-in food because that's how we party and celebrate in this house: we eat! I also hate the increasing and worsening anti-immigrant hate and racism in the Shithole lately, esp. against Indians who they call Jeets and Indians own my marijuana dispensary too but I don't care; I don't care what race or religion someone is just as long as I get a good product and good service.
Racists are assholes.
I think my life will end in suicide
I'm not quite sure when, maybe it won't, but all roads seem to lead me there.-Arusoi
