My mother and I made linguine with Pesto sauce, one of our faves. it's funny, too because that's what my mother thought linguine always was and always came like, with the Pesto sauce; she thought it was just that way and it took literally years of me convincing her that it wasn't true, and trying to explain the difference that linguine itself is a type of pasta and Pesto is a type of sauce and that they don't automatically always have to go together, and I tried to explain to her that linguine doesn't always have to come with pesto sauce; it can come with other sauce too, such as Marinara, Alfredo, etc. or that you can put Pesto sauce on other types of pasta. She thought that if you went into a restaurant and ordered linguine, for example, that it would automatically come with Pesto sauce. I kid you not. She has some pretty strange ideas and her own way of thinking. I'm pretty sure that I must have got my Asperger's from her although most times I think I must be "higher up" on the Spectrum than she is.
As well, I saw on the news that the American chicken chain Chick-Fil-A opened it's first store in Toronto and there was a long line to get in but also protesters protesting as the owners are conservative Christians that believe in the traditional defintion of marriage between one man and one woman and don't agree with LGBT. My opinion on this is that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and if you want to be LGBT that's your right. If you don't agree with it that's also your right. If you want to get a chicken sandwich at Chick-Fil-A then go get one. If you don't, then you don't have to. I don't see why it has to be such a problem. Of course if it were reversed and the owner of an establishment was LGBT and people were protesting it then it would be quite different though as LGBT don't seem to think rights and tolerance go both ways. If people decided to protest and boycott a business because they were LGBT or catered to the LGBT crowd there would be a huge uproar (and we all know it's true) and cries of hate, homophobia, and the like as they seem to think people have to agree with and accept their point of view but if they don't they don't think they have the right to an opposite belief, opinion or protest. It's funny about Chick-Fil-A too; when I first saw it before I actually heard it spoken I thought it was pronounced Chick- Filla as in I'm gonna filla my plate up with chicken as opposed to fill ay like the French filet as in I think I'll order a chicken filet. Ha, ha, I'm such a dork.
All yesterday and today Buddy also keeps whining at me too it's like he's worried about something and he wants to keep going out too and when he does he always anxiously tracks a scent so I wonder if there's a predator of some sort around(like that nasty grey cat that bit a chunk out of his tail last summer) or something that he's keeping watch out for or some hot babe in heat and he's looking for a Booty Call? In any case he seems really anxious and worked up about something....
