Well, now it's official; this country is now officially under Martial Law as the gov't has actually passed The Emergency Act (formerly the War Measures Act ) which has only been enacted once before in history. It passed thru all levels of gov't and by all political parties. If it hadn't an election would have been called, which is likely the reason the other parties allowed it to pass thru, not wanting an election and risking losing their power. That's what it's always all about; power. So now it's for 30 days, or so they claim but remember that they also said the COVIDianRegime lockdowns, restrictions, mandates, etc. were just for 2 weeks to flatten the curve and yet here we still are, now into the third year. Originally the excuse for it was to give the gov't and police extra power to crush the peaceful Freedom Convoy protesters protesting the tyrannical oppressive mandates but now they're all been cleared out and arrested(and they said they'll be following and arresting them for months and freezing bank accounts of everyone that supported them financially too, even an old lady that donated 25$; they'll clear out her entire life savings as well)going after, punishing,sanctioning,and censoring anyone that dares to disagree with the gov't . Now their excuse is "What if the protesters come back?" They're using what might possibly happen in the future to try and "justify" their over-reaching brutality and in Ottawa still there are over 100 police check-points and citizens walking by are stopped and ID'd and interrogated.
Democracy has died. So much for freedom.
When I found out that it actually passed my legs just buckled from beneath me and it felt like all the air was just sucked out of the room it was all just so surreal, like a nightmare or one of those movies, and when I did a Google search for Martial Law to get this photo photos from Canada showed up too as well as those from the Philippines, Myanmar and other tyrannical regimes, and now they're saying they want the vaccine to be mandatory in schools too, yet another reminder that I'm sooo glad that we've always homeschooled( not that I've ever regretted it but every now and then I get these reminders why I'm glad we did)and I heard a radio ad as well for registering your kids for school and they said Come be a part of our family and I thought, yeah....the Manson Family! and being unvaxxed I can't even leave the country,either, so the only escape is suicide, and now with Russia seemed poised to attack Ukraine imminent and start a possible WWIII this is NOT the kind of world I want to live in. 😭
Buddy also saw his friends this morning out for his walk( he hadn't for a long time as it had been so cold but today it's mild again) and one of them is prego now, and yesterday he also had bloody diarrhrea from the steak he had for his birthday but he enjoyed it; I just had to clean up from the fall-out,and being old now his sphincter muscles don't work well anymore and he can't push out his own shit anymore so I now have to squeeze out the end and get it started and then the rest glides out. That's what love is.Yesterday I also had this weird strong "metallic" taste in my mouth and I saw it often means liver or kidney failure and I've had trouble with both for several years now so I guess it's just a matter of which one will kill me first, and my mother was complaining about her pain and then snarked, But I don't smoke weed 3 times a day! and I told her, it's twice, NOT 3 times, and it works! (when the pain gets really bad) and I have offered her some to relieve her pain but she refuses, and yesterday my jaw and chin was also violently shaking as well I saw could indicate Parkinson's Disease and I wonder as well if me being so ugly could also maybe be due to some kind of syndrome,too, explaining my big head, high forehead, flat face, and asymetrical features? The 27 YR old also said my mother and I are basically the same person which I found insulting,and I said it's better to not get close to anyone because they just end up leaving anyway she said Even your kids? but esp. my kids; not only do they leave eventually but mine even hate me,too.
Sometimes the bridge is too large to cross.
