Sunflowers.

My sunflowers I planted 2 weeks or so ago aren't doing so well. I planted 24 or so seeds and originally only 5 seedlings came up but one of them the stem broke off and another something ate the leaf, leaving only 3 left, so I'm wondering if the other seeds are either duds or something dug them up and ate them so yesterday I planted more plus when I went to the store I was looking at flowers and I found this: sunflowers so I bought the 2 plants and planted them so at least I'll have them. It was the last ones left too and the first time I've ever seen them selling sunflower plants so I got lucky, something that never ever happens to me! I had to go to the store anyway to pick up a few things and as always it's a hassle for my hubby to take me even though I hardly ever go out anywhere(maybe once a month or so) and he wanted it to originally be this morning even though he knows I have my radio show this morning I look forward to every week but he never considers or cares about my schedule or routine and doesn't think it matters and that only his  is important but as it turned out he had time last night and changed his mind so we went then so it ended up working out afterall. I was also sooo sweaty yesterday(even though it wasn't that hot out) it must have been my hormones  again. Menopause really sucks! Buddy was also brave( or stupid?) sitting in the shade under my chair while I was sitting on it and I was hoping it wouldn't collapse with him under it and I'd fall on him or it would be like a hamster being squished by an elephant! My life can also be summed up as: plagued by difficulties, tragedies, losses, and few joys.

One of my Facebook friends is also a realtor in Texas and this house shown here is one of her listings and I was shocked it's only 175K! It has 4 bedrooms and 2 baths and here aplace like that would go for at least a minimum of 750K, probably over a million$! I can't believe how inexpensive houses are in USA compared to here! We're always getting over-priced for everything  here and ripped-off but I'm glad to say at least the provincial election results couldn't have been better: the PC Party won a landslide majority victory with the NDP the official opposition and the corrupt Liberals being decimated yet again(like in the last election) not even gaining party status, with both the Liberals and NDP leaders resigning. I'd be happy as long as long as anyone but the Liberals won and having them decimated is even better! My cousin M's pittbull is also successfully prego and her litter is due in July, and with bills now going paperless I said, What about old, poor, or dumb people that don't have or don't know how to use computers?  and my mother said, I'm all three; I'm old, poor, and dumb and I don't have or know how to use computers! She was also sitting out on the veranda the other day when a raccoon kept coming up and she'd chase it away but it still kept coming up 3 times, and I saw a beautiful sunset; it was pink and purple but like all beauty it quickly faded and didn't last long, and the other day I was watching Top Gun Maverick the exact same time as my cousin in Europe was only neither of us was aware the other was also watching it and she was at the cinema and mine was downloaded only it had no sound on the TV again so I had to watch it on the computer but my bad back can't tolerate sitting up that long so I put pillows on the floor and a blanket and laid down on the floor and watched it, with Buddy curled up beside me. It was an excellent movie, by the way.

My life is based on true events.
