For now, right now, things are calm. Buddy just had one very small 'bleed" after 7;30 am and I'm just taking it day-by-day and trying not to dwell on the possibilities and enjoying each day that we still do have left together. I also notice his gums and tongue are pale now, too; a white colour now instead of the usual pink, from blood loss and resulting anemia, and he's still hardly eating and all he does is sleep all day but he is also 16 YRS old too so it's what I'd expect from an old dog, anyway,
The construction guys also now made a brand-new trench, now on the other side of the road, shown here, above.
...and this machine is now parked on our grass at the side of our house(yes, that's our house you see in the photo) over the weekend until they resume work on Monday, and today my hubby is visiting his sister and brothers and my lower back now hurts really bad on both sides(where the kidneys are) and my lower left side of my abdomen as well and this morning it's just 10 C but going to 26 C and supposed to linger around there all week, which is much better than when it was 32 C and felt like 42! It actually was 42 when I was in Egypt(and that was before humidity!!) and it was the hottest place I've been to and I swear it felt like my face was melting off! How cool is this? A regular contributor on Quora I like to read I also found out that she went to college with one of my American Facebook friends and I saw her post on her profile!
This behemoth is parked right across the street from us on top of a pile of sand and I have to say up close those machines(and watching the guys work) really is quite fascinating and the 2 Edmonton Boys do construction too although they do drywalling so I assume that it's indoors and it's weird too we have these mysterious black drips, splotches and drops all over the house; on the floor, the wall, the stairs, the hallway, etc. like paint, only it isn't, and my hubby said he thought it was from Buddy's blood except there's also some in the second-floor bathroom, too, and he never goes there so it's not that....I wonder what it is and where it's from? I also got 2 new pillows as mine had blood stains all over them from Buddy and this time I left the plastic bag wrapping on them like a raincoat to protect them and just put the pillowcases over them. Smart, huh?
...and check out this one! Look at the cool tires at the front! If you look closely you can see the tires have these bumps on them that look like Lego, and the photo turned out cool as you can also see my shadow taking the photo IN the photo reflected by the sun, and I just realized as well my mother's been retired now for 20 years( she retired early at 61) and she was just 6 years older when she retired than I am now which makes me feel really old, and it's sad too that all the good things( like love) never last too long, either, but just only ever end up memories, and now the gov't is planning a digital ID for everyone in the near future too but I refuse to submit to; the Mark Of The Beast...
I pray for strength for whatever lies ahead.
