Kissing My Lawn Goodbye.

Here are 2 big cement cylinder thingies placed in our driveway and in the background you can also see they moved their portable toilet in front of The Teacher's house across the street so I joke now when I'm out walking Buddy if I have to go pee I can just stop by there except now there's no place for him to even go at the front anymore they've taken up everything on the road, sidewalk, our lawn, everything! yesterday morning he had one small patch of grass left on our lawn about the size of a case of pop but now.....nothing, so he just has to go out in the backyard.

Here you can see the cylinders are being hoisted up being prepared to be moved to the big deep trench. I watched as the machine slowly trudged along, groaning and squeaking being guided by the workman who would hold the cylinder walking along beside it until it got gently placed into the trench. It was funny, too; The Dancer from across the street also went running by in her yoga pants and aerobic top(and being a dancer she's thin and has a very tone body) and the guy operating the machine saw her and turned to look at her as she passed by and kept following her with his gaze watching her  while  stilloperating the machine and it made me laugh; what a typical guy! 😂

Here they are putting the cylinder into place, I assume for either sewage or water and the excavator(or whatever it's called) also has a detachable claw/ scoop thing at the end and they unattach it and put another one on depending on the job they need done which I thought was kind of cool and they always have 3 dump trucks in rotation as well to pick up the dirt, concrete, etc. that they dig up,too, so once one has filled up with a load and gone off to dump it another one is already there lined up to take the next load so they never have to wait for a truck to dump their load and it's always ongoing.

We also now have this big pipe thing on the sidewalk right at the front of our house and now the entire road and street is all entirely blocked off and no one is getting in or out any way at all and they've dug up most of our lawn now as well so we can kiss our lawn goodbye but at least the good of it is all the dandilions are gone for good now, roots and all, and now there's hardly any grass left to cut, either( hardly any grass at all!) trying to look on the positive side, but I hope once they're done that they fix it properly though and lay down sod  and don't just toss grass seed down because the effin' birds will just eat it all and we'll never get our lawn back!

Here's the new trench they dig, now taking over most of our lawn, the other side of the road, and now encroaching The Dancer's front area of her studio as well(and now the squirrels have also eaten most of her newer flowers again too and the others died because she never waters them and we haven't had rain in awhile) and getting this close to a construction site isn't something that most people ever get but being right at our house and on our street I get a front row seat every day and it really is quite interesting!

Here's some kind of pipe or other in the trench and yesterday and during the night Buddy had 4 big bleeds coming from the hole on the sore on his face and he also shit in my bed for the first time ever, too! We were snuggling in bed and I suddenly felt something warm gushing out onto my arm, alarming me as I assumed it was blood so I quickly jumped up and turned on the light....and it was diarrhrea! He's never shit in bed before; he jumps down and goes on the floor(where I have newspaper laid down just in case) and the 27 YR old also thinks that I actually made up Monkey Pox too; he says it sounds so stupid he doesn't believe it's real and thinks I just invented it!

And even though it all went wrong I'll stand right here before the Lord of song With nothing, nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah.
