Here is what my arm looks like after I had my blood work done at the lab yesterday but oddly it's NOT from the actual needle itself but instead from the bandage after I ripped it off hours later. See how fragile and sensitive my skin is and how easily it bruises? When I got there 10 minutes before my app't there was this big long line 10 or so people and I was like, Oh, f*ck, no....but I heard them already calling out my name so I went to the front, everyone grumbling, and I felt like a celebrity VIP going to the front of the line getting into an exclusive club and I heard someone bellow, What do you do to get the VIP treatment? and a tech answered, Make an app't online ( the ones waiting in line were walk-ins and were told it was a 75 minute wait which is why I always book an app't) and when I mentioned my hubby was in earlier in the morning and passed-out they remembered him and said how funny it was and if I had actually been with him at the time I would have been really embarrassed but afterwards talking about it, it was just funny. They handed me a face diaper as well and later in the day I was able to go online and check my results which were all up except for the thyroid test which is still pending.
Both my platelet counts and hemoglobin are high(which I guess is still better than low) and my white cell count is normal( so I don't have any infections) and as always it shows my kidneys are in failure(mine was 70 and damage range is 60-89) and my liver enzymes are also still really high, higher than they've ever been; one is 180 and normal range is between 35-120 and another mine is 74 and normal range is 12-37 and my pee showed traces of ketones indicating pre-diabetes, which runs in my mother's side of the family so isn't surprising and a trace of blood. I guess then the stomach area pain is due to my liver then( also explaining my itchiness and nausea, swollen belly, and less appetite) although it may also be my stomach as well( ulcer or cancer?) it could be both and I wonder what the ultrasound next week will show and if anything what tests will follow, like an endoscopy to check my stomach or a CT or MRI scan... I also really like the rental car as it has tons of leg room in the passenger front seat( the most I've ever had) and a divider in-between me and the driver so like we each have our own little compartments and insurance covers the rental car costs for 2 days after we get the cheque which still hasn't been cleared by insurance yet.
I also got called by a scammer yesterday who said there were 400$ and 1500$ charges on my credit card and to cancel them they wanted the first 6 numbers of my card to "verify" and I said f*ck that; I'm NOT giving my credit card info to someone over the phone and I also told them if they really were actually from the credit card company then they'd already have the information....and then he hung up on me, and I also heard on the news a naked guy walking in the street was hit by a car in Toronto and another naked guy in Montreal driving a bus plowed into a daycare killing a couple of kids, too. What is it though with all these naked people running around though?
Every story eventually has an ending.
