The Ultrasound.

I had my upper abdomenal ultrasound today and I had to fast from both food and drink(the hardest is not drinking; I was parched!) from 6 am so it was over  6 HRS and not only that but the scan was during my nap time as well so I was hungry, thirsty, and tired, and in pain as my abdomenal pain is really bad today so everything combined I'm miserable and in a bad mood ( a really bad combination!)and God help anyone who dares to cross my path today; beware; be forewarned, and stay far, far away! Even as soon as I walked thru the door into the hospital a patient sitting in a wheelchair barked at me I had to wear a face-diaper(and being that it's a hospital full of sick people I complied without any fuss but I'm still really tired of all this stupid mask shit though) and the tech doing the scan wasn't very friendly and didn't seem too "nice" though and seemed abrupt so I decided against doing my joke of asking him, Is it a boy or a girl? when scanning my belly and he scanned my stomach, liver, spleen, pancreas, and kidneys, but not appendix or bladder, so if that's the problem I still won't know. I just hope if there is any blockage, twisting, narrowing, aneurysm, tumour, thickening, cysts, growths, etc. on anything that it shows up clearly and doesn't get missed.

When he was scanning he also asked me when I got my gallbladder removed(so I wonder if he saw something "fishy" in that area, like perhaps a blocked bile duct, or scarring or something?) and I told him 11 years ago and he often had me take in a deep breath and hold it as he scanned and then exhale but it was hard for me to hold it for long, esp. with the stupid mask; I felt like I was suffocating and could never hold it for too long but when he had me face the wall to scan my other kidney, my back facing him, I slipped the pesky mask down (he couldn't see) and was able to sneak in some good breaths. I was also hoping that pressing down on the organs that nothing would rupture with the pressure either and I'd bleed out right there on the table but so far so good anyway and he said my doctor should have the results by the end of the week but he always has Fridays off so I'll probably hear back sometime next week. I wonder too if maybe the reason the guy seemed so "prickly" might be he found something on the scan? My doctor's office also called and I have a phone app't with him Wednesday to discuss my blood test results which I already know as I checked online.

Cause I'm a piece of shit, it ain't hard to fuckin' tell.-The Notorious B.I.G
