One Last Day.

Today is the last day of a week of nice warm summer temps. Yesterday it was 27 C and today supposed to be 24 C but tomorrow go down to just 10 C and rain and on Tuesday drop as low as 6 C so no more outside days for awhile but the nice weather will be back; this is just a sneak preview for a week. As you can see in the photo here our Day lilies are starting to pop up. I also heard George Thorogood( I have seen live in concert at least 6 times) had a medical emergency and immediate surgery needing months of recovery has cancelled all of his summer tours and I wonder what it was? My guess would be heart surgery and he is 73 YRS old and lives the "hard" life of a rocker, but still.....we already lost David Bowie, Eddie Van Halen, and Tom Petty; I can't lose George, too; then I'll only have Billy Idol and Robbie Robertson left of my faves, and, of course Lenny Kravitz, who is around my age. I notice too I don't feel quite as tired now I've been able to be outside in the sun and fresh air; I'm like a wilted plant that perks up with fresh air and sunlight and I also now have itchy fever blisters all over my arms and legs from the sun I always get the first 2 weeks of sun exposure every season.. I also saw the first ant of the season in the kitchen too so I put out the ant traps.

I finally got a photo of the wild brown rabbit in our yard. If you look really closely( and enlarge the photo) you can see it; it's just up left to the white ball. Can you see him? He blends in really well.and yesterday I also saw the tiniest Monarch butterfly ever; I knew it was by the colours and the markings but it was so small; just the size of a Canadian Loonie one dollar coin and I've never seen one so small before and I always thought they emerged from their cocoons full-sized and I've never seen a baby one before! Yesterday my hubby and the boys also had another Dungeons & Dragons with their group and today the 28 YR old has jiu-jitsu.I also know I am officially crazy as I talk to my appliances and just this morning as I was tossing the laundry into the new dryer I said to the washing machine, So, how do you like your new friend? Are you guys getting along well? I hope you're being nice to him and welcomed him to the family.

My hubby also always refers to my talking or any time I speak as "yakking", always so condescending, belitting and demeaning and today when I asked him something he snarled, Go away and stop yakking! saying he was working even though I heard a chess podcast in the background( and I knew it was as I recognized Eric Rosen's voice) and I don't "deserve" this; no one does; no one deserves to be treated like that and I wish God would send me someone who actually loves me and treats me with kindness and respect and not with scorn and contempt, and my hubby also thinks it's OK for landlords to evict tenants for "renovictions" to "upgrade" property and then charge double the rent knowing they can't afford it, (and I said Where are they supposed to go, and they're normally low-income? and he said Who cares?) and for companies like Amazon and IBM to  exploit and treat their employess like wage slaves by not giving them bathroom breaks and monitoring their activities and computer use(like prisoners with ankle "bracelets") as "all that matters is what the shareholders think, NOT the employees" and he talks down" to me that I "wouldn't know because I don't work" but I DO know basic human decency and what's right and that you should treat people( incl. tenants and employees) right and NOT take advantage of them or exploit them and if your workers are happy and well taken care of they're  also more productive ,and basically, don't be an asshole, but he doesn't exactly have the best ethics. If only I had known that over 30 years ago but hindsight is everything....
