What Was That?

Yesterday was a nice day and Buddy and I sat outside enjoying the sun and fresh air again and supposed to be able to again today too but then rain for the next couple of days after. Yesterday I also saw something black quickly run by in the diningroom and it went by so fast I wasn't able to get a good look at it but it was bigger than a mouse so my guess is either a rat or a squirrel although I think I would have noticed the bushy tail if it was a squirrel. My guess is it must have ran inside from outdoors one time when someone had the door open. When I told the 29 YR old we have an animal in the house he goes, Yeah, Buddy! Buddy also picked up the scent and perked up as well and knew something was there as it scurried off and hid among everyone's shoes in the front hallway/foyer near the door. The lamp in the rec-room also keeps falling over so I put a big bottle of cranberry juice on the base of it to hold it up. When you can't afford repairs/replacements you get very creative.

This is also the 24 YR old ( who lives in Ottawa) with her many books; it's like a library, and our house is the same; both my hubby and I love to read and have lots of books,and the almost 17 YR old is still sick and one day he appeared to be getting a bit better.....but then he was back on the couch again and not any better and my mother's "Sixth Sense" (all mothers have it; it's a mother's instinct, and it tells you when something just isn't right and when it's time to go to the hospital)told me it was time for a doctor's app't ; that this wasn't going to go away on its own, so off he went and it was weird: they said to go back home and the doctor would just do the app't over the phone which I thought was kind of dumb as how can he listen to his chest/lungs or get a mucus sample(to check for infection) over the phone to look for pneumonia but in any case he prescribed him antibiotics like I was hoping for anyway so hopefully he'll start to get better soon and now my hubby and I are sick too; he's completely 'dead" ( but you know how guys are when they're sick, such drama queens and over-react) and I have diarrhrea, am congested and feel sweaty and "woozy" and was woken up at 2 am wirh a throbbing splitting headache that felt like ice-picks in my skull and the 29 YR old doesn't feel that well,either, but luckily he's off work this week so it worked out.

I also like this pants(I saw a shirt that matches,too!) but won't order it because (1) I can't order everything I like and (2) It probably comes from China and either won't fit or won't look like it does in the photo or both. I also told my hubby earlier when he gets my snack that I don't have any specific requests; to just pick something up and surprise me, and he goes, I'm not getting anything today.....SURPRISE!! The Palace also admitted that the recent photo of Princess Kate and her kids was "doctored" and now people are speculating even more than before where she is and what really happened to her and some people even wonder if Prince William even maybe killed her.  Maybe he caught her having an affair or something? What can he really say though when he's been doing the same thing himself for years. At the end of the day though they're just people, like the rest of us.Wouldn't that be awful though if that's what actually happened?
