Elbows Up!

"Elbows up!"

Have you ever heard this before? I haven't and apparantly it's supposed to be a Canadian expression, and Mike Myers said it on SNL the other night. I had no idea what it meant and neither did my hubby. We both thought maybe it had something to do with keeping your elbows off the dinnner table or something but I checked it and it's some redneck hockey term( I'm surprised he didn't know that!) and it means fight and make 'em bleed. (It reminds me of that joke "I went to a fight and a hockey game broke out.")It was in reference to shitstain Trump and his unjust tariffs and 51st State comments. It takes alot to piss-off a Canadian too but he's somehow managed to do it to millions of them,and all at once,too! Last night I also was woken up by a loud crash in my bedroom like something fell and now I noticed my Bob Marley sketch I got from an artist that was framed and had glass on it and was hanging on my wall was missing and I checked and it had fallen down and fallen apart but luckily the glass never broke so I just re-assembled it and put it back up on the wall. I also burned my thumb on my lighter lighting my bong yesterday and now the entire thumbprint part is a big blister.

Today also starts Lent and is a fasting day, which I call a Starvation Day  as well as a time of self-reflection and repentance and we're also supposed to get 25 mm of rain, even a thunderstorm later today and they even cancelled the school buses in anticipation of it( but they cancel them all the time anyway; I think they just look for any old excuse actually)and then after that either later tonight or tomorrow also 5-10 cm of snow and it drops back down colder again but I actually prefer the snow to the yucky gloomy rain. Buddy also did a big pee outside this morning so I don't know if it's because it's warmer out or if it was just a one-time luck, and I don't approve of surrogacy or adoption,either; it's buying and selling babies & kids and is basically nothing more than human trafficking, and I heard 60's folk singer Buffy St. Marie has been stripped of her awards (Order Of Canada,which is meaningless now anyway since they even awarded it to baby-killer Dr. Morgenthaler etc.) for claiming she's Indigenous when apparantly there's some discrepancy whether she actually really is or not, but what's the big deal? It's no different than trans people pretending to be something they're not and identifying as something other than what they actually are yet they tell the rest of us to accept it, and famous people re-invent themselves all the time...
